This wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be and in general terms it is quite well written. It came across to me as a fan writing about her and getting most of the information from "fan" style magazines. Being unauthorised, it lacked any real insight from Perry's point of view and the author struggled to enter into any real controversial aspects of her life, although to be fair they were not ignored either. I learnt some things form reading this book and as a result it was an OK rea This wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be and in general terms it is quite well written. i read this book last year and really enjoyed it. I foumd it facinating reading about Katy Perrys life. It was quite a big book so it did take a while for me to read. Ive always enjoyed reading biographies about peoples life, especially famous peoples life's as they don't have a normal life like most people. This has probably been one of my favourite biographies as it is very detailed and tells us all about Katy herself from the beginning. i would really recommend to anyone who enjoys reading bo i read this book last year and really enjoyed it. Really good book. it was fascinating to read all about Katy perry's roots and what inspired so many of her songs. I was a little bit disappointed that it was written before her break-up with Russell brand as I was curious to know what caused the split. I will look for a book that is written later and see if it explains the split, otherwise an amazing read and well worth my time. I think this is a very cool book, it has taught me about Katy Perry's childhood and it shows the diffrence between what she is now to what she was when she was younger :) I think this is a very cool book, it has taught me about Katy Perry's childhood and it shows the diffrence between what she is now to what she was when she was younger :)
