2.5, but GR keeps denying us those crucial half stars. I think "It's OK" pretty much sums it up. I checked this out to look for ideas for a luncheon that would be easy to transport and make ahead. I didn't find anything I wanted to make in it for that, but there were some other recipes that might work well in a true "come to my house and bring something" potluck. The recipes are a very mixed lot. Some looked interesting and promising. Others looked like something that might have make an appearan 2.5, but GR keeps denying us those crucial half stars. I received an e-edition of this book for the purpose of a review. This cookbook has it all, just like a potluck (or cover dish) party would. The author takes you through the beginnings of pot luck's and even gives you many helpful tips on food safety (very important), a chart for serving size depending on the crowd and different types of pot luck parties you can host. The cookbook has many delicious recipes and even a little education on specific ingredients. I consider this to be one of my forem I received an e-edition of this book for the purpose of a review. Very well put together.

I enjoyed flipping through this cookbook. There were some good ideas about having potlucks in the first part of the book. I bookmarked several recipes to try. The back of the book provided additional resources.

Some stuff that looked pretty good, and then again some four-cheese-and-alfredo-sauce-covered frozen potato pierogies in the 'healthy vegetarian dishes' section.
