I won this book in a GoodReads First Reads giveaway. As a musician and chorister, I connected with Matthew's story on several different levels. It was moving, heartwarming, gut-wrenching, and musical all in one. I'm not a baby-boomer, but I was very interested to read about life during the early 1970s. I would definitely recommended this to those that love stories about music, family, and self-determination. I won this book in a GoodReads First Reads giveaway.
