    it was a free ebook. no new info but i like it. it explained clean eating simply and cited sources. then it has a bunch of recipes to help get you started. each recipe is labeled to let you know if it fits special diets like gluten free or vegan. each recipe also has notes that tell you what benefits the ingredients have like ginger helps inflammation.

    The intro to this book was good, very thorough and it includes things like ideas for minimizing and reusing leftovers. It also accommodates pretty much every dietary concern - gluten free, FODMAP, dairy free, etc. the recipes are pretty easy, but I think the book tries to be too many things and gets lost in the process. There aren’t many pictures, so it was tough to get excited about the food. I felt like the author should have focused just on eating clean and less on the myriad clean diets out The intro to this book was good, very thorough and it includes things like ideas for minimizing and reusing leftovers.     I found this book very informative on the subject of "clean eating." I found the variety of recipes appealing, and fairly easy to follow. More pictures would have been beneficial, but the foodie in me, is able to decide if the recipe contents are appealing.     This book was awful. There were maybe 5 pictures in the whole book. I need lots of pictures. I found nothing that I wanted to make and nothing that even sounded good. I got my library to find this for me, thankgoodness that I did not spend any money on this myself.

    As the title advertise, it is a simple guide to clean eating (plus suggestions for exercising). The principles can be read in a few hours. The remaining 75% of the book contain recipes.

    I obtained an e-book copy of this enjoyable little cookbook. This cookbook has a fantastic collection of simple recipes for clean eating. The ingredients list requires no extreme hunts for obscure grocery items. Preparation is very easy. The recipes also have a few notes for how you can modify them to fit more restrictive diets such as vegan, gluten-free, or even nightshade-free. However, I have a little hang up about the section of the book educating readers on what is a clean diet, more specif I obtained an e-book copy of this enjoyable little cookbook. This cookbook has a fantastic collection of simple recipes for clean eating. The ingredients list requires no extreme hunts for obscure grocery items. Preparation is very easy. The recipes also have a few notes for how you can modify them to fit more restrictive diets such as vegan, gluten-free, or even nightshade-free. However, I have a little hang up about the section of the book educating readers on what is a clean diet, more specifically on identifying what is a clean, healthy oil. There wasn't explanation as to why a polyunsaturated fat like canola oil is not included on a clean diet. Bear in mind, I'm no nutritionist, but the nutrition classes I have taken have recommended canola as it contains omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. Additionally, the taste is relatively demure in comparison to flax seed or other oils so it meshes well with many recipes. I felt that the section required more elaboration. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone seeking a better diet. The processed junk in the super market can't compare with home cooked, real food from this recipe book.

Our food is SO POLLUTED! This book will revolutionize the way you eat and make you aware of the fuel you put in your body. Since I have read this book, I find myself: 1) looking at labels. 2) rethinking some of my past (and unconscious) choices. 3) Looking for better alternatives for foods we have been eating for so lo I entered to win this book via Goodreads Giveaway, and received the book last week.     I am on a clean eating diet right now so this was interesting to look at. What I loved the most was that it seemed like these were ingredients I could get my hands on with more interesting ways to prepare them. The pictures were great. I think I would prefer to have it in actual book form but for Ipad lovers, I bet it looks great on there too and it would be one less cookbook to store. I'm very happy to have a copy of this e-book.
