This book is a cute one and definitely a known one. I was never a fan of Cinderella growing up because I felt like she was always hyped up compared to all the other princess stories. The only meaning behind the book is that being kind makes you pretty. While this is true, I believe there are other stories that can tell it better. I did think this book was cute, but I also think it is one that I wouldn't bother to have in a classroom. This book is a cute one and definitely a known one. The story points out that if we act nicer, we look prettier. I believe it!

I feel that a female who is black, lesbian, big-boned, or hates wearing dresses would not relate to the main character Cinderella. That doesn't make it a bad book, but I think it potentially sets up you This version of Cinderella is the one I remember as a little kid.
