During these unprecedented times, the businesses operated online, survived. At least most of them. In this book, he is discussing how to build your online business from scratch, operate, overcome struggle, and few strategical approaches to keep the business healthy and running. 🔟 These are my top 10 favourite chapters from the book. 1. Know your why? What’s the reason you are in the business. 2. Don’t leave your family behind 3. Don’t quit your day job, yet. (I thought this was helpful) 4. Have a business model, not a business plan. (Anyone can plan, but not everyone can execute) 5. Be unique 6. Get your finances right 7. Be skeptical. Be aware 8. Always be testing 9. Go where the people are 10. Results-driven advertising

I might be slightly biased as I found the author lives in the same state as I do and I feel that promoting people in the same region as me is the neighborly thing to do. That said, there is a lot of good beginner information in this ebook. That said, there is a lot of good beginner information in this ebook. It's been written so rules can apply to any kind of online business (even us trying to be authors!) and the rules seem to be common sense, or something that comes up later in business that you haven't thought of when you started the business. The rules aren't really rules, you can break them if you think you need to, but mostly it is recommended that you don't as serious problems can arise from some of them. One example is earning a bad reputation by using bad business practices (such as using others and then not paying them, or giving them less than what was promised). At any rate it really is a good book and I would have said so even if the author wasn't from my state!

I enjoyed reading this book and love the format. Matthew puts time-tested, best-practices in 40 separate chapters addressing the things he learned the "hard way". These tips and app suggestions are terrific, particularly for someone like me who is considering launching an author page and selling some books. Highly recommend this book if you are starting or have an online business. Lots of great information. I enjoyed reading this book and love the format. Good Easy Read with a COMMON SENSE approach to getting things done. This should NOT deter any future readers as there is NO HOOK of NO GIMMICK when it comes to becoming profitable online. The common sense approach to making a success of online businesses. Give it a shot. I rated this a 3 because I wanted more. More as in 50 rules. Yes, the potential to deliver more is there. Overall, would highly recommend.

Good book Considering this was free it has a lot of great information. It was very helpful. You should take notes to remember all the other helpful materials he suggests you use, they do not have a lot of websites listed at the end.

Really practical, easy-to-implement advice for creating a virtual business, or converting it a to virtual platform. Each chapter is short and has clear lists to get you started on growing your online presence. Although this book was written for online companies, it contains helpful advice for everyone who is starting to run a business. I wish I had read this before I started running a company! Matt is a friend and well known in the local entrepreneurial community. He has written a useful book for all entrepreneurs.

Good solid straightforward advice. This book really worked for me because it gets straight to the point in each chapter. No dramatic sob stories which seem to be the norm in so many similar books.

Great, principle-based rules for success in internet business. Contains the nuts and bolts, which the internet "gurus" tend to leave out. Also, the author's main business is not teaching internet business, which is refreshing. Great, principle-based rules for success in internet business.
