   Gail Simone returns to write Wonder Woman! Of course I'm gonna read it. Gail is responsible for me falling in love with Diana. And as a bonus, she's also guest-starring Barbara Gordon. These are two characters Simone writes remarkably well, and now they're together. Sort of. Oh, did I mention the Gotham City Sirens are also in this? That's right. Simone knows exactly what she's doing: teasing us. Okay, enough fooling around. This issue is good. I already have the trade paperback which I'll be rea Gail Simone returns to write Wonder Woman! Simone knows exactly what she's doing: teasing us. Okay, enough fooling around. This issue is good. I already have the trade paperback which I'll be reading soon, but I couldn't help myself. I read this anyway. Diana feels appropriately awe-inspiring and badass, whipping Gotham into shape in the absence of Batman and, in the second story, stopping Circe from... whatever magical trouble she's up to. The first story is better but the second one's good too. If you're a Wonder Woman fan you should definitely pick this up, and if you aren't, give it a try anyway. Diana has some fun lines.

   Saw this advertised in an Yahoo article. Thought I would give it a read. It was only the start of the story. This is why I prefer getting comics in volumes. The digital was only 99 cents though.
