What a simple story, but so good on so many levels. It was real, not superficial and how life is when someone is terminal ill. It brought back some memories for me and the story was presented so accurately. Hazel and Gus’s sardonic sense of humor and their uniqueness of enjoying being different in their likes and dislikes was refreshing; you do not see shared or exemplified often in teens. I could understand Hazels feeling of wanting to know that her parents would have a life after she was gone as people sometimes feel the guilt that if they were well the people around them could have a “real life” Hazel was able to let done her guard to enjoy friendship, happiness, joy and loss. Hazel’s parents did a great job of allowing their teen the room to grow and experience her life on her terms.

clearly a masterpiece......have expressed the pain in its most peculiar way.....use of medical terms have actually made my mind to jump into the story.....excellent plotting and characters were given very strong role to play throughout the book.....introduction of AIA (An imperial affliction) has kept me to my highest level of anxiety to know what's next...overall it actually made tears to roll down my cheeks.....cuz one of my mentor had suffered that disease and is no more today....keep it up j clearly a masterpiece......have expressed the pain in its most peculiar way.....use of medical terms have actually made my mind to jump into the story.....excellent plotting and characters were given very strong role to play throughout the book.....introduction of AIA (An imperial affliction) has kept me to my highest level of anxiety to know what's next...overall it actually made tears to roll down my cheeks.....cuz one of my mentor had suffered that disease and is no more today....keep it up john sir....you can touch the hearts of reader every time....

Amazingly written. Every feeling is just beautifully poured out of the heart. Though I do not believe in Love but after reading the book I think I have fallen in love with John Green.

Omg I just finished reading The Fault of the Stars. Wow all I can say is Wow, you really need to read it! This book is about a girl named Hazel who is not happy with her life. They end up going to Amsterdam together and falling in love. They do so many things together and love each other for who they genuinely are. Even though Augustus only has one leg and Hazel's lungs cause her to have to wear oxygen as a teenager. I watched the movie and thought it was really good, so I decided to read the book after my English teacher told me I had to read a book. Reading is not whatsoever something I like to do, but this book I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy books about adventures and young love stories. It's just so cute how they end up falling in love and love each other for who they are and that they don't care that they both have disabilities. This story is a whole bunch of different emotions, but I promise it is well worth reading.

In the book “The Fault In Our Stars” I learned through the main characters that even in your worst moments if you have love you can get through almost anything and be happy. The characters personalities are both kind, funny, brave, and outgoing. Both main characters Hazel and Augustus are both very ill but still live their lives. Hazel and Augustus find love through each others sickness but don't let that stop them from living like everyone else. This inspires me to keep my head up and keep fighting even in the bad moments and to live life to its fullest. In conclusion, the book “The Fault In Our Stars” is very moving and inspiring in many different ways.

Elective Reading (romance) Hazel Grace Lancaster who is 16, is diagnosed with cancer and has had it for three years. She meets a 17 year old boy, Agustus Waters, who once had a cancerous tumor in his leg but is now in remission. This novel follows the relationship the two have and how their relationship grows. I thought this book was great! It was my first time reading it and it didn't disappoint. It was extremely sad and I did cry like a baby, but in the best way possible. A bit of a slow start. A support group of teenagers with cancer meets weekly and we meet Hazel, one of the attendees. Her cancer is under control but not in remission. This was a great book! I actually preferred the movie better, but they were both very good. I guess the only part that seemed to make more sense [to me] was how Hazel ends up coming into possession of the Eulogy that Augustus had written for her. The book's version was a little "unbelievable" to me- but the movie mad more sense. I cried at both. I bawled at the movie, though. This is definitely worth the read! This was a great book!
