It was awesome to get more insight into Chay, and I found out he is not quite the jerk he makes himself out to be in Alpha’s Captive. He is one of those people that you don’t and probably won’t ever fully understand at least from my view point. You learn about his nickname which I have always wondered about and didn’t think I’d ever find out :) I can't wait to check out the rest of the bundle :)

I was gifted this novella for an honest review by author V.M. Black. This is from Taken by the Panther for this bundle of ebooks. Chay Bane is from Taken by the Alpha book series and this is his POV. This is a review of that story only. Chay Bane takes care of a group of shifters in an army instillation that he bought but he also does some work for the government because he is a computer genius. The author always creates great characters that make each book worth reading and this is no exception. The characters work very well together and their interaction with the other people is awesome. This novella is for any paranormal romance book lover who likes intrigue and action.

I have not read all the stories in this set yet, but had to post a review for V.M. Black's 'The Panthers Quest'...this is the story I wanted to read in this set the most so I started with it. This is the second book I have read in Ms. Blacks 'Taken By the Panther' series and both have left me wanting more. I am truly enjoying Chay's adventures and look forward to the next installment. I had not ready any books by any other author by VM Black before this set and although her story was my favorite...there were several other authors who I will be checking out in the future, including Nicholas Wilson, Madison Freeman & S.M. Reine.

Panther´s Quest. By V.M.BLACK ★★★★☆ This is the only story in the bundle I have read so far. Two fugitives arrive at Black Mesa, the shifter compound hideout belonging to panther shifter Chay Blane. Law enforcement is hot on their trail. It's Chay's job to protect all his people, including the troublesome werewolf who brought the problem. It takes a lot of his panther and his human skills. They also need to get in and out of a very dangerous place. Time to call out the troops to help. This is an all a Panther´s Quest. This is an all action story, where you hardly have time to draw breath. I must admit a lot of the computer speak went right over my head. There is no romance ,but the incredible characters we meet now must have some great stories coming.I really enjoyed the mad journey through this book.

I haven't read all of the books but I have read Panther Quest by VM Black, I received a Arc for my honest review. It is an excellent prequel to Out of the darkness and it's nice to read about Chay. I enjoyed reading his perspective, He's a tough guy but with a heart, who truly cares for those around him and as much as he grumbles and complains about it, he really wouldn't want it any other way. I liked how we see characters from other stories joining in this storyline. I haven't read all the books in the bundle, but was given Panthers Quest for my honest review! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Chay! He's a techno geek, but could whoop your ass at the same time! LOL! He wasn't born a Panther Shifter, but was turned into one when he was undercover. He now runs Black Mesa, ehich is a place for wayward shifters, and other beings that can't function well in the world. I can't wait to see Where the story goes for Chat, Levi, and Bailey!! I loved VM Black's Panther's Quest, as I have read other stories in this series, it has given me a chance to see some of the back story on the lives of the people I am getting to know. I saw the human side of them somewhat, and learned more about their daily lives at the compound. I loved this boxed set and found plenty more to read. I loved Lindsay Buroker's story. I will admit I read it previously. I was also fond of several other stories. Justice Calling, Melancholia, Super, Panther's Quest and Bloom all held my interest. I've added a few more books too read because of this set. I loved this boxed set and found plenty more to read. This was worth the 99 cents I paid for it. I did find one author whose other stuff I will try, but there are also several authors in here who I will avoid like the plague; I could have lived without it.
