Got a few new ideas from this book so that is always a bonus. One was the simple recipe of taking corn tortillas, filling with any kind of meat and fry them, folded over in a bit of oil for some crunchy tacos. It suggests rolling and pinning them with toothpicks but my tortillas were too difficult to manage. The cashew clusters sounded easy and delicious (9 oz semi-sweet chocolate, 1/2 cup cashes, 1/2 cup cranberries. Melt chocolate, stir in nuts and cranberries. Drop on buttered cookie sheet. Let harden. Salsa chicken, Peanut butter fudge and Pineapple turnovers are all on my "to-make" list. There were quite a few recipes that use cans of soup as one of the ingredients. I can't get those were I live. So if that is something also that you don't use, be aware that many recipes call for that.

One stop meal In this one book you can go from appetizer to dessert and only use 12-16 ingredients for the whole meal! I found 26 recipes that I am sure my family will like and many others that will hopefully be family favorites as well.

This is a very good cookbook. You wouldn't think you could get so many new recipes from a 4 ingredient cookbook, but this definitely isn't your average "just add cream of mushroom soup" cookbook. A cutting board, very dark brown shows in white the menu of recipes-very hard to read. Each recipe includes a title, list of ingredient-most will have prepackaged items to save you time in the kitchen. Instructions and a color photo. No nutritional information but you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, etc. Not all recipes have a photo and some include servings. Would be a lot healthier if you used your own garden vegetables rather than canned with lots more sodium included. Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
