Chuck Dixon is one of the tops writers for the Bat-Fam, in my opinion. I've read mainly his Robin run, but this was just amazing! A nice retelling on Bruce's steps to becoming the Dark Knight, as well as the parallels between then and now. Chuck Dixon is one of the tops writers for the Bat-Fam, in my opinion. Go to youtube.com/user/InfiniteReads to watch my TBR video and my friend's TBR video for this Readathon. I am so excited to be participating! Absolutely perfection! This is a perfect book for anyone not familiar with the Batman mythos. As if there was such a person.

I reread Detective Comics #27 for its 80th anniversary, and then I decided to give this a read. This was a nice little rundown of who Batman is, how he started out, and the important players he's met along the way. Original Batman Fantastic debrief of the man known as Batman. Illustrations are nostalgic and well done. Takes me back to the good old days of a warm summer night on the porch reading my comic books, thanks.

Not sure why this is #0? Some sort of Batman relaunch or just a reminder of the origin and nature of Batman and another freeby for Kindle.

A good simple origin story. It accumulates some stories and shortens it; then it puts them together to show his motivation to become a vigilante.

Guns are for self defense Only problem with the whole comic, "Guns are for cowards" total BULL Crap. Leftists are ruining classics with revisionist garbage. Love it! This is a good Bat man introduction comic. I love the illustrations that have a classic touch. The story line has a bit of humor.
