I have been working on learning to be mindful over the past few months and have been reading a lot about the topic. I can definitely use more focus and well being from the stressors in my life and the world in general. I really liked the way the author explained mindfulness so that it is available to all people all the time and that we each need to find what works for us, not others. This book has a long set of tips that can help with learning how to be and then continuing to be mindful. Since each tip has it's own explanation, it was easy to read through them and then pick and choose the ones that fit best for me and my personality and time constraints. Very nice, well written collection with positive self-talk. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a short book on some mindfulness activities that you can do. It's not as good as a thicker mindfulness book, but some of the activities have good ideas for things you can do to be more mindful. There is a bit of an assumption that you know well some of the technical names of body parts/muscles in the part about massage, which I thought could have done with more explanation. Not everyone knows off the top of their head what their solar plexus is, for example. This is a short book on some mindfulness activities that you can do. Being a person who finds it difficult to input mindfulness into my life on a daily basis, I found this book to be extremely interesting. Throughout these pages I learnt that I can bring mindfulness in my everyday life to make myself happy, create independence. Most of all, to reduce my daily stress. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Grammar is important. This book may have had several great pointers in it, but I will never know them. The author uses phrases that your average teenaged girl uses throughout the first two chapters. The slang and poor grammar were so distracting I had to quit reading the book.

Good short read with plenty of tips for you to try Had some good tips that I will take away and try, but didn't go into detail as much as I would have wanted, pleasantly written Good short read with plenty of tips for you to try Had some good tips that I will take away and try, but didn't go into detail as much as I would have wanted, pleasantly written
