Having just adopted a kitten, I really enjoyed this creative book. It has been designed to appeal to the young reader with simple, yet informative instructions on how to care for you cat. There are easy to follow diagrams and delightful illustrations. If you have a cat in your home or if you are thinking of getting one, this book is a must for the whole family. If you sat down and shared it at bedtime, your children would learn about the importance of taking care of their pet and they would devel Having just adopted a kitten, I really enjoyed this creative book. It has been designed to appeal to the young reader with simple, yet informative instructions on how to care for you cat. There are easy to follow diagrams and delightful illustrations. If you have a cat in your home or if you are thinking of getting one, this book is a must for the whole family. If you sat down and shared it at bedtime, your children would learn about the importance of taking care of their pet and they would develop a strong sense of responsible pet ownership. Purr! is certainly a rewarding and well thought out book that will appeal to children of all ages. It also acts as a reference that they could go back to over and over again as they develop a deeper understanding of their precious feline. This fact, on its own, certainly makes it well worth buying. The book has an important message about the need to spay or neuter your cat and the psychological damage declawing a cat can do. Having worked in the rescue industry for many years, I applaud the author’s stance on these topics.
