    I did not read the entire book, because I was mainly interested in the facts rather than the detox diet or the recipes which fill more than half of the book. And it served my purpose, made me interested to learn more about the chemicals we consume everyday through food, cosmetics, health care and personal hygiene products, even clothes. It also made me scared and think ignorance is a bliss. If we really know how much toxin we consume everyday, it would be difficult to buy anything for our daily I did not read the entire book, because I was mainly interested in the facts rather than the detox diet or the recipes which fill more than half of the book. And it served my purpose, made me interested to learn more about the chemicals we consume everyday through food, cosmetics, health care and personal hygiene products, even clothes. It also made me scared and think ignorance is a bliss. If we really know how much toxin we consume everyday, it would be difficult to buy anything for our daily needs. We would really want to go back to being cave people!

    A perfect companion to Joyous Health. While Joyous Health teaches about nutrition, Joyous Detox gives more recipes to living a "joyous" life. I've already made a number of these recipes!     A little on the extreme side but a thorough education of what foods are best for detoxing and the science behind it. The recipes aren't all hitters, and as a whole, the plan is a little time-consuming to follow with meal preparation.     What a fun and helpful book. I am still looking forward to trying a bunch of recipes. Me and my husband have written down recipes from each section to try, but even without them, this book had many useful tips for everyday health. And the author is amazing and getting back to me on twitter in 24 hours or less. Will try to update this review near the end of the February to note what we thought of the recipes!
