This is the most beautiful recipe book I own and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, even though the print can be sometimes a bit too small to read, while cooking. I love that the book is well balanced and provides both authentic northern and southern dishes. Moreover, on many occasions the author even compares and contrasts how one specific item is prepared in the north and how different ingredients are used in the south to vary the same dish further. The brief introductions to the dishes, along with the excellent photography, the fabric cover, the flexi-bind that allows the book to lay flat on the counter top and the amazing and diverse range of recipes makes the book worthy of a ten star rating, instead of the measly five star rating, that I'm allowed to give it here. Buy this book and add it to your cookbook collection, I assure you the recipes are as tasty as they look tempting in the photographs, and you won't regret the purchase.

I just received the book today and I must say that it has to be the most beautiful cookbook I own, if not most beautiful book of mine in general. The recipes look delicious and I can't wait to try them out. Love the stories behind the dishes and the simplicity and detailed descriptions. Just started trying them out and am looking forward to experimenting with all of them.
