This is one story that I found to be just right. Great characters, a storyline that shows the emotional growth of a relationship, plus hot and steamy points that knock your socks off from the very first scene…it all adds up to one fantastic read. Yes, he was a bit of a hook-up guy before meeting Allyson, and she was a bit that way as well. But when you meet the one…everything changes. I actually found the romance between them pretty sweet, filled with a growing deep emotion but also punctuated with some nice doses of spice that will have you heating up as well. These Wild men really are wild after dark, which you get here the moment you open up the book to its first page. In between those super spicy moments? We get to see Heath and Allyson’s relationship go from one-night stand to tentatively dating to something so deep and filled with emotion that those spicy scenes are just icing on the rest of this sweet and loving story. While there’s no huge dramatic scene to introduce some big issue or overloads of tension, this story does not need it—you get plenty of emotion and a really fulfilling story without it. You also get some thoughtful, intense conversations between Heath and Allyson that show they are both very serious about where this thing between them is going. I loved the returning characters of Heath’s brothers, and especially his mother who is wonderfully intuitive and knows her sons better than they know themselves. Another 5-star read in the Wild Boys After Dark series, Heath will leave you feeling satisfied and with a smile on your face when you finally reach that last page. I still have a smile on my face while writing this review :-) Recommended for 18+ only due to adult language and explicit sexual content. Bring on Jackson and Cooper…I need more of these Wild men!

The world is smaller and more connected than one would think.   Heath Wild would always keep his one-night stands and hook-ups out of the city. Getting close to a doctor makes her nervous, yet there's something about Heath that's addicting to her.   As luck would turn out, they're from the same city. Even weirder, it turns out they work in the same hospital.   Things heat up quickly between the two. Neither seems to want to be away from each other for long, yet there's insecurities and trust issues from their past that makes them worry with how quickly their relationship is moving. Both had been cheated on in the past.   I loved seeing how their relationship grew and how well they would communicate. Heath is like the perfect book boyfriend with how well he can communicate and how loyal he is to his family.   This book in the series isn't as action packed as Logan's story, yet the story is just as interesting and fun to read. The way the story progresses fits so well for both Ally and Heath's personalities. Heath and Ally are very relatable characters.   I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Really liked this one! So after reading the first book in this series and not really liking it, I thought maybe this one would be better. And yeah it was! I really liked Ally and Heath. It was genuine, it was real and I finished it all in one setting. After reading Logan's story, I was eager to begin the second book in the series.  This book is about Heath, the eldest of the Wild brothers.  I  was intrigued when I read about him in book one, and I could not wait to find out more about him. Dr. Heath Wild is an orthopedic surgeon and a confirmed bachelor.  Being in a committed relationship was not on his agenda. He had specific rules that he lived by and he expected the women he hooked up with to accept them.  He never hooked up with women who lived in the same city has he did, and there was to be no exchanging of telephone number and surnames.  It would be a night of sex with no strings attached.  However, the unthinkable happened the night he met Allyson at a medical conference. He found himself breaking his rules. Allyson Jenner is a lab technician who loves volunteering at medical conferences.  After surviving two failed relationships, she was not looking to get involved in anything permanent. She was interested in having fun and great sex without the complications that came with having a relationship.  As a rule, Allyson avoided doctors as she thought they were arrogant and self-righteous.  When she discovered that Heath was a doctor, it had her rethinking her views. The last thing she expected was that she would have fallen in love with a doctor. My opinions on this installment are mixed. I enjoyed this story, however, there were a few things that I had an issue with.  I was hoping for more information on Heath.  I was curious to know why he became a doctor.  Also, it would have been good to know what impact the attack on his parents and ultimately the loss of his father had on him, and how he dealt with the aftermath.   Although I enjoyed reading about Ally and Heath, I thought their romance lacked some amount of authenticity. Everything went so smoothly. They did have reservations as things were moving fast. However, based on their past relationships I was expecting that there would have been issues arising from this. The ending was beautiful. It brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. The story was entertaining and funny. The love scenes are passionate and full of sensuality.  I thought Heath and Ally were perfect for each other. What I enjoyed was the fact that the story was not solely about sex.  There was substance and meaning behind the story. Overall, this was a good read. Not my favourite of the series so far, but still an enjoyable read.  I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

So I was very interested in knowing Heath's story once I finished Logan. I like that Melissa constructs stories around large families with each member spanning a book. It gives the reader a lot more interaction with a particular character. I absolutely loved Logan. And the story was fast paced too. So I had to request for stories of the other Wild Boys. To be very fair, I shouldn't have expected Heath's story to be something similar to Logan's but then I did expect a lot more than what I got. I got a lot of sex, barely any interaction with the characters or who they were as persons and also the whole story. I found it defective that this book did not focus on Heath or Ally. You ended up knowing about Heath because you read Logan and knew where he came from. I didn't know who Heath was as a person, what made him choose his profession, what characteristics described him and what his dreams were. These were more transparent in Logan. And i loved Logan for that. This book was a bit of a let down that way. It's singular focus on how Heath and Ally fell in love felt good to read but it didn't give me that story I look for in a Romance. Sure Ally and Heath felt for each other and found that they loved each others company. But there wasn't anything beyond that. Which is why my ire. I looooved the sex scenes!! They were absolutely HOT! SMOKIN HOT! And seeing how Ally and Heath fell in love was great and it reminded me of how love tended to open all your boundaries and how letting a person inside somehow made you feel more complete. I was so glad Ally was smart. I'm tired of heroines being Damsels in Distress. I mean they do need to have some spine and Ally sure did. I loved how Ally seemed to integrate into Heath's life. It is something every woman aspires to do and she was great. I just wish the book focused on the characters rather than their story. It would have earned me a full 5 stars. Let's hope Jackson and Cooper live up to the high bar that Logan set.

The second book in the Wild Boys series features Heath the oldest brother in the Wild family and the man who lives for his work and has a policy when it comes to women. No last names. No strings. No ties. Except of the silk variety. Until this all thrown out of the window when he meets Allyson ‘Aly’ Jenner and has a simple tryst with her whilst on a conference that is happening out of town . But one taste isn’t enough as each of them can’t forget that simple tryst and exchange numbers. And one night turns into two and Heath seems to breaking his rules but will he go all the way ? I love the whole fate angle with this book and how everything played out. These two were cute together whilst obviously their relationship was pretty down and dirty. Their banter and them just together it was magical and all swoony worthy. This was my first time reading (or listening to) this author and was pleasantly surprised. This was a fast paced read and was perfect listening for an afternoon of cleaning. Since it was a shorter book things moved fast between the characters which didn’t bother me. Definitely going to check out the brothers books and definitely going to read Ally’s sister, Amanda’s story.

This one started out with a sexy bang, but then sorta fizzled. I think between the opening scene and the title of “wild boys,” I expected something different. The sex scenes were still hot, but there wasn’t much conflict. Still a solid read, though.

3.5 Stars!! This was a quick, fun read filled with super steamy scenes and hot chemistry. Dr. Heath Wild has rules he lives by when it comes to women. He’s not looking for a relationship and he’s not interested in anyone knowing him personally. So, one night stands suit him perfectly. When he meets Allyson Jenner at a convention, he’s found his perfect match. After all, she doesn’t want any strings either…no last names, no personal questions, just a hot night together. Heath was a swoony, hot doctor who was open, straightforward, and sweet. He’d been burned by relationships before and was definitely against allowing himself to get hurt again. Ally’s past, with several cheating boyfriends, was one she’d like to forget as well. The last thing either of them expected was to find each other. Although this story follows their romance – including their doubts, their missteps, and their joy – there is definitely a heavy emphasis on the sexy times. Don’t get me wrong, it was very well done and very hot. Their chemistry was definitely strong, but I would have also liked to dig deeper into these characters and better understand what makes them tick. Both Heath and Ally were intriguing and I would have enjoyed learning more about their pasts. Overall, however, this was a good read. I enjoyed their interactions and their banter. I liked the fact that they were open with each other and that Heath was patient with Ally as she came around to trusting him and feeling safe enough to move their relationship forward. If you’re looking for a fast, steamy, and entertaining read then this might be a great book for you to pick up!

Ally didn't do relationships either thanks to cheating boyfriends. But their was something about Heath and it scared her. She didn't think she could trust her feelings or maybe she couldn't trust him. What happens when they find out they live in the same city? Will they give the feelings they share a chance? While at a medical convention Heath hooks up with the gorgeous brunette that caught his eye at the bar. After an amazing night with Aly, he found himself seeking her out the next day. Never one to break his rules of no personal information and no last names - he couldn't help but think of the woman who brought him to his knees like no one ever had before. After a second night with Aly - he still wasn't ready to let her go. Going against everything he ever did before he asks for her number before leaving. After being home for not even a day, Heath still can't get Aly out of his mind. A series of flirty texts leads to phone calls and... What is he doing? This was a great story about how love can blindside you when you least expect it. Aly and Heath are delicious together. Both made for each other but both full of fear of failing in the monogamy game. Hot, sexy, steamy yet full of love and romance that we are rewarded with in every Melissa Foster book. I highly recommend The Wild Boys After Dark Series!

I mean, who wouldn't want to land a guy like that, right? So right from the get go, I already knew that the main characters' scheme of having just one night with each other was never going to work. I've read books like this before. One of them always starts wanting more. The thing about this book is that while you already know where things are going to end, you will still stick around to witness the journey. This was a quick read for me, as there pretty much wasn't a lot of complications to start with. However, those few hours that I spent devouring every page was well worth it because I had an awesome time with the characters. I am also looking forward to the third book, which I am sure will be another sexy and romantic story.

Heath made me swoon. He was so sexy smart.... a nice change to over the top alphas. And Ally, oh how I loved her and found myself rooting for her happy ending. I highly recommend this series. Oh, my! *fans self* HOT! HOT! HOT! Melissa Foster has really amped up the heat in this second Wild Boys book. Heath Wild is hot between the sheets and out. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that this book is all about sex. Melissa still gives us the romance and love that we have come to expect in all her books. Heath and Ally meet at a medical conference in Vermont. They each have trust issues from previous relationships. Both understand that this will be one night of no strings attached sex, but they get so much more than they bargained for. They can’t get enough of each other. What was supposed to be one night has turned into two hotter than hot nights. Heath finds himself breaking his rules with Alley. They go their separate ways the next day with nothing more than first names and phone numbers. Can this possibly become more than either of them expected? You need to buy this book to find out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

4 Stars This was another super sweet story by Melissa Foster. I will say that I enjoyed parts of this story more than I did Logan's story as I felt there was so much fun with how the characters met and how their relationship evolved. As someone with a history of working in a lab, there was a few things that didn't go with my knowledge of how things work, but then the story wouldn't have been able to go the way it did. However, other than the insta love and extremely rapid moving relationship, I liked the story, but it still wasn't a story I'd consider great as I felt like there was just nothing that really made me have to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. It was all pretty clear from pretty early on what where things were going. I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads

I really liked Heath as a secondary character in the first book in Foster’s Wild Boys After Dark series as a caring older brother to Logan that stories male lead and a caring physician who treats Stella’s injuries. I was a bit shocked and disappointed at the Heath I met at the start of his book. As the story opens Heath is finger fucking our female lead Allyson Jenner (whom he just met in a bar at a medical conference in Vermont) to orgasm on an empty elevator on the way to Allyson’s room where I really liked Heath as a secondary character in the first book in Foster’s Wild Boys After Dark series as a caring older brother to Logan that stories male lead and a caring physician who treats Stella’s injuries. I was a bit shocked and disappointed at the Heath I met at the start of his book. As the story opens Heath is finger fucking our female lead Allyson Jenner (whom he just met in a bar at a medical conference in Vermont) to orgasm on an empty elevator on the way to Allyson’s room where they continue what they started. Heath goes all Christian Grey on Allyson by insisting on no strings, sharing nothing beyond first names and their bodies, and binding her hands with his tie (which she’s totally on board with) much like Christian told Anna, “he doesn’t make love, he fucks.” Beyond incredible sexual chemistry and a fondness for the same kink Ally and Heath share the same, “Get in, Get off and Get out” philosophy about sex. Although Ally does invite Heath to spend the night with her for more orgasms which because he’s afraid of clingy women who will want more of his time, he declines. This might sound strange coming from someone who has posted over one-hundred reviews of contemporary romances on Goodreads, where casual no strings sex is common place , but I’m not a fan of casual sex in real life or stories. I’m not a fan of characters who like these two, treat sex like it’s no more significant and intimate than a back massage. As Ally says, “she enjoys sex!. She occasionally hooks up with strangers for a one-night stand because sex relieves stress and rejuvenates her.” Well that and as we later find out both Heath and Ally have been cheated on in previous relationships so they’ve put up walls around their hearts so they won’t be hurt again. This is meant to justify their very casual sexual liaisons, but it really doesn’t for me. It’s also interesting that the way these two first met, causes both of them to have a modicum of mistrust over whether the other can remain faithful. Understandably because why would you trust somebody who is willing to fuck perfect strangers they meet in a bar? Fortunately, before we get too much further into the story, Foster redeems these two characters in my eyes. Like Christian with Anna, Heath discovers he can’t get Ally off his mind the next day and she has similar problems forgetting the guy who gave her multiple orgasms the night before. They find each other again at the hotel bar the next night, the last night of the conference for round two of bedroom gymnastics and it’s just as good as the first time. Heath tries to do is usual “walk away and don’t look back routine but can’t help himself from asking Ally for her phone number even though he still doesn’t know her last name, where she lives or what she does for a living. Ally who is equally as ignorant to any knowledge about Heath other than she now knows he’s a doctor and the best lover she’s ever had, gives him her number. I guess if its with the right person sex is more than just scratching an itch even for these two who are committed to not committing. Fortunately for both of them they discover later that they both live and work in New York City. They exchange flirty texts and have phone sex. Heath inexplicably finds Ally working in the lab at the hospital where he’s doing rounds. I really wish Melissa would have explained how in a city of nine million people Heath found out where Ally worked and what she did there considering at this point he still doesn’t know her last name or even if she works in NYC? Foster doesn’t imply that Heath just happened to see Ally while she was working on the hospital floor so how did he know where to find here? IMHO that’s a pretty big hole in the story to leave unfilled. From the beginning this book very much follows the same pattern as the first book. I had to deduct a star because the stories are in many ways so similar. Like the first book the story opens with our couple having intense sex early on. Logan describes it to Heath as “Hate Sex” because both he and Stella were trying to work hate, (not for each other) out of their systems. Like his brother Logan before him who was also a non-relationship guy, Heath quickly falls for Ally and all of his rules about no strings fall away. He’s totally into Ally and can’t spend enough time with her. He doesn’t hold back communicating what he’s feeling for her and like Logan is infinitely patient with Ally as she drags her feet for reasons she’s not completely sure she herself understands. Like Stella in their book but for different reasons, Ally waffles back and forth about her feelings for Heath, willing to go out with him, have torrid sex with him and falling in love with him but trying to deny it to herself and slow their relationship down by refusing to allow him to spend the night with her. Unlike Logan and Stella’s story there’s no threat to Ally’s safety, just her heart if she allows herself to fall completely in love with Heath. Heath does his best to show Ally that their relationship, their connection isn’t just about the sex. In the end of course love wins out and Ally accepts and confesses her love for Heath and they live happily ever after. One small thing that bothered me in this book is that for an author who loves to bring back characters from previous books, Stella doesn’t make an appearance in this story. She gets mentioned but that’s about it. The reason I enjoy reading series so much more than standalones is the opportunity to see the characters from previous books again. IMHO it would have seemed natural for Ally to meet and become friends with Stella at some point since they’re dating brothers and eventually go to Sunday dinner at Mom Wild’s house every week. But nope, while we hear how in love Logan is with Stella, she never actually makes an appearance. I found that disappointing. The heroine is sexy as hell (which is always a plus for me) and the hero was a great guy who laid his heart bare for her. Just for the reasons I’ve articulated I found it a good book, but IMHO not great.

I am a huge fan of Melissa Foster and her alpha male hero's and according to me this one her best books by far. The writing in this book is flawless and so captivating from the first chapter that it is difficult to put this book down. I loved Heath's character because he is so sweet, but at the same time he was dominant in bed. I think Heath is now my new book boyfriend because of his hotness and dreaminess. The growth of both Ally and Heath's characters were well conceived and written. My favourite part of the book was the off the charts chemistry and the scorching hot sex scenes between Ally and Heath, because the aim of this series was for Melissa to bring in hotter hero's and I think she has hit the nail on the head with these alpha male hero's. However, I did wish that there was a little more drama in the book, but nevertheless this was a brilliant book.

I needed a cold shower after the first chapter. This book was soo hot I was left begging for more. Heath is a gentleman but a freak in the sheets. He meets his match when he meets Ally. Ally is quiet and reserved until you get her between the sheets. Heath and Ally both like being in charge in the bed which makes Heath want her even more. They decide to only share one night and first names. After that one night, they both want more. received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. Omg I bloody loved this book, when we met Heath in book 1 I thought he would be a stuffy uptight doctor when we got to his book, boy was I wrong. He is a dirty talking dude with the skills to back it up. I really liked the banter between him and Ally. She hardly let him get away with anything and kept him on his toes. I loved how she kept reminding him of the rules he put into place on their first meeting. When these Wild br received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. OMG!! This book is HOT! Steamy from the get go... Heath is my favourite Wild boy. He's so sexy, has a potty mouth, but he's a sweetheart too. The elevator scene at the beginning had me panting for more...and boy, did we get it! Heath and Ally are a match made in heaven. I don't want to say any more as I don't want to give away any spoilers. Just read it. You will love Heath. OMG!! This book is HOT! Steamy from the get go... Heath is my favourite Wild boy. Ah, Heath and Ally! The love, the emotions, the story, this is all something you really don't want to miss! I promise you once you pick this up you will not put it down until you are done, it's just that good. I truly think this is my favorite (so far) of Melissa's books.
