Not on the pace like the other two issues but still a very strong issue. The characters are more grounded and not alike, which is a problem in these teams. Easily one of my favorites in the DC world and it seems to be getting better which would seem impossible. I hope the justice league vs suicide squad event doesn't reshuffle this series. The aftermath of The first victim visiting Spoiler saw Batman confront Spoiler about what the first victims intention were , Spoiler is however hiding something and Batman knows it . The story was brilliantly displayed in this issue yet again , as much of the issue dealt with the strained relationship between Batman and spoiler , Batwoman and her Dad , Batwoman and Bat wing and the emotional fragility of the new members of the new team Batman . If you need action sequences to be ever present The aftermath of The first victim visiting Spoiler saw Batman confront Spoiler about what the first victims intention were , Spoiler is however hiding something and Batman knows it . If you need action sequences to be ever present in a story to keep you entertained than this is not your issue to read . But the character oriented story was very well done regardless . The only reason I deduct one star off the issue is because of the absence of the regular Team Detective Comics artist (Barrows & Martinez), This issue saw art by 2 budding new artists trying to make it in DC academy , And although their work is good it's nowhere near as good as Barrows and Martinez . That said a solid issue

Even tho it took me three fuckin weeks to get this, it was pretty good. I wonder where they're taking spoilers character tho... Even tho it took me three fuckin weeks to get this, it was pretty good. I wonder where they're taking spoilers character tho...

A bit slower, but some interesting stuff is going on with Spoiler.

Some really nice character stuff nearly ruined by a nonsense cliffhanger.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Alright, I'm a little confused at "first night in costume, I was taking down members of the red hood gang". Apparently I've missed a retcon of Jason/Batman? I enjoy the Colony guys playing "I spy". Yay for the issue where Harper officially comes out as bi! Also, who is the dude with the glowing sword? I've clearly missed something there, too, but he's pretty kickass. Alright, I'm a little confused at "first night in costume, I was taking down members of the red hood gang". Detective Comics 945 There is more than one artist in this issue. The difference is pretty noticeable and it's a annoying to me. One page has one distinct style and then the next is completely different. Detective Comics 945 There is more than one artist in this issue. This continues the intragroup drama with Stephanie Brown starting to question anf resist the whole "superhero" thing, and some of the other team members growing doubts as well. We also find out Harper Row officially identifies as bisexual - hot damn! The art isn't quite to my taste, but it isn't bad. The story progression more than makes up for anything I feel may be lacking in the art. And, man, that ending.
