This is the latest novella in this series I've read, and each on I rated 3-4 stars more 4's then 3. I'm not going to keep reviewing them, you can read the 1st 10 to see what I thought or you can download the first one for free on Amazon I really recommend you do that if you like witch stories or funny British humor. Just Keeps Getting Better! Adele Abbott is one masterful storyteller! She continues to delight readers with tales of Jill Gooder, P.I. - who is also a witch. Oh yeah - and she is living with a human who also is a police detective. Even better her sister (through adoption as an infant) is also human, but her birth family - An Aunt, two cousins and her Grandmother are also witches. Head spinning yet? Just wait til you read the series!

Perfectly Titled The party mentioned in the previous book was obviously a rousing success. What? I can't give a spoiler? I haven't done before, and won't again. Jack gets Jill sucked into a human sup Coscon. He has found a fancy dress shop where he's sure they can find costumes (read Susan Hall to get more info on this shop. Not now, as I did, finish this series first). Miles and Mindy have a problem. Poor them. Not. A very different type of murder this time. Again, very clever. Missing folks, again. But not what you may be thinking, again. One in cahoots will Jill may surprise you. Jill has a lot of family issues (when doesn't she, really?). I really haven't finished this but suspect these will continue through to the next book, but I am curious about what Jill is going to do about the biggest one. A surprise for Jill and the twins. Of course it had to happen eventually. Jill is such a pushover for Winky's shenanigans. She will never learn.

Almost flawless I honestly love this book. It has plenty of humour, a characters who seems REAL, magic and develops the series plot a LOT. I thought that jacks mum was awesome as well and Winky is hilarious. Honestly Jill's personality bothers me sometimes because she is so terrible with family and she is a bit insensitive. Jill's stupidity when it comes to Social interaction is the main reason I am rating this 4 instead of 5 stars, Buuut... Overall I have to give it to you this book is hilarious Almost flawless I honestly love this book. It has plenty of humour, a characters who seems REAL, magic and develops the series plot a LOT. .As entertaining as ever. Twenty stories into the series and still as entertaining as ever. Fun, funny and now very familiar characters never disappoint the reader. Winky the one eyed cat could carry a series of stories on his own. Pure fantasy stories offer a refreshing break for a few hours. I always eagerly anticipate the next book release in this series.

More fun mysteries Jill has many adventures in this book, including some fun ones with her sister and with Jack. She solves a murder mystery, as well as a Candlefield mystery. Her world is expanded to Ghost Town, or GT, where she solves another mystery. I like the ending the best where Jill is left with the greatest mystery of all.

Good Well the backstory is heating up again. I really enjoy my witch PI fix these days since she usually has several cases going now and the backstory is progressing with every installment.

Still as good as ever I can't believe we are on book 20 but it's true! That being said, it's still as good as the first. All of your favorite characters are back and we get to meet Jack's mom, whom you will love. Still as good as ever I can't believe we are on book 20 but it's true! The name game! Where does our author come up with the names in her books? Does anyone else find these names as amusing as our shero Jill and myself? It does amaze me. I restlessly await my next adventure.

These keep sucking me in...I'm not even sure why. After 20 books, they have devolved into a very predictable format. The only surprise in this one was Yvonne. I'm really tired of the stupid names and dumb jokes...none of which are remotely funny. These keep sucking me in...I'm not even sure why. Curiouser Jill is still getting roped into doing things that she doesn't want to do. She is still solving mysteries. Her cat Winky is still being manipulative. Yet, there are new clues to a mystery that she doesn't even understand. Curiouser Jill is still getting roped into doing things that she doesn't want to do. She is still solving mysteries. Love this series of books. So easygoing that you can dip in and out of. Winky does annoy me slightly. Even though he did help her in the last book. Will definitely be reading more.
