Love the Series! Adele Abbott has put together one great series involving crime, mystery, supernatural, human, drama, tragedy all with a heavy dose of snarky humor!

Two minds. The books are still well written and the last couple have gotten interesting again, but I am in two minds as to wether I actually LIKE Jill Gooder. Her lying constantly is ridiculous, her treatment of her sister and Jack is abysmal (although, maybe she takes after her father in that regard). The way the entire mess of cases comes together each time however is magical. While all the plains in the series are interesting it is Ghost Town that truly terrifies me. That Winky Winky has done it this time. I agree with Jill, his plan to fix his problem is something only a lunatic would come up with. Grandma has, of course, a new idea for Ever. This time, she drags Jack in. He's delighted. Jill and Jack take a trip. Aunt Lucy guesses the twins' secrets. Jill rats them out to each other. So much for a zipped lip. Although Mr. Hosey and Mr. Kilbride have removed their trains in a snit, more train issues. Jill unexpectedly helps Mr. Ivers. He's so delighted he forget That Winky Winky has done it this time. A busy Jill I definitely like these better since Jill has been busier--she usually has several cases and a little work to put in on one of the backstories. At any rate a fun romp with Jill was just what the doctor ordered.

Good short read It's a good short read but since it's book 24 guess you would say I'm hooked. It's like a serial and short so you can finish in a few hrs. Would be best to start with the first book it is a continuing story. Good short read It's a good short read but since it's book 24 guess you would say I'm hooked. Everettes R Us Grandma is a cheat, but we already knew that. Jill is in trouble, but we knew that too. They now have a pretty sloth, but Jack doesn't know. And I definitely don't trust the new neighbors! None of them! Everettes R Us Grandma is a cheat, but we already knew that. Jill is in trouble, but we knew that too. Very entertaining I love the ending. It made me laugh. Sorry, no cliffhanger this time. A very good book, though. Lots of development in Jill’s life. I really enjoyed reading about some of the things she faces personally. Plus, all the antics of the rest of the characters.

Another fun read. Don't know how she does it, but Jill has the knack of solving almost every mystery that comes her way. I say almost because there are still some that she has yet to solve. Add her family and pets, there is never a dull moment. Another fun read. Don't know how she does it, but Jill has the knack of solving almost every mystery that comes her way. Potato chip book - don't bother thinking, but it's amusing. Lots of puns, plot points are seriously transparent, and you don't even have to guess what's going to happen. Suspense and humor I find Jill Holders sense of humor refreshingly childlike. She handles situations professionally and with little magic. She balances her world's with finess.
