Who doesn't like taxes? Do you get mad when you have to pay taxes? This a review about a book on the Boston Tea Party. The genre of this book is historical fiction because the Boston Tea Party was a real event. My overall opinion of the book is that it is great because it explains real events in an adventure kind of way. **Spoiler Alert** The setting of this book is in New York during colonial times. In this book a young boy named Ben and his friend Joseph wanted to go to the Boston tea party but Ben was trapped in his room by a loyalist an ally of the British. So Ben escaped escaped his room with ropes. Then when Ben and Joseph got to the tea party it was a surprise that they found the loyalist named Diggins who he was lying because he thought that if he told Ben about the tea party he was going to report him to the British. The type of conflict is person vs person because Diggins locked Ben in his room. The theme of this story is that everyone was was tired of being bossed around so they wanted to defend themselves.**Spoiler Alert ends here** Here is some analysis of the story. A major event made Ben change his views about Diggins. The title relates to the book of showing how this event was one of the events which made America get independence. The setting of the book shows why everyone is on boats throwing tea to the water. The narrator also tells action of the main of minor characters which is reliable. Another major event was that Ben And Joseph wanted to join the Sons of Liberty who Ben and Joe looked up to. My opinion on this book is that this book is good because it shows you the events of the Boston Tea Party. My favorite part was when Diggins fell from a ship and Ben rescued him from drowning because it showed that Ben cared about Diggins. I was angry when Diggins locked Ben in his room because then Ben would have not thrown tea into the water. The characters actions were not believable when Ben swam to save Diggins from drowning. I liked how the author made this book third person because it is much easier to to know what the characters are saying. I rate this book 4 stars because the book is good but not great or the best book ever. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about the Boston Tea Party because it explains the events of it in a fun way. Anyone who wants to learn about the Boston Tea Party will like this book I can be sure. They will know more events that happened during the Boston Tea Party. Remember no one wants to pay taxes and no one likes taxes.

I didn't love this book, however I feel as though the book is geared more towards a boy audience and a person who like comic books, because the book is written that way. However, the book informs a lot about the revolution, and specifically Samuel Adams.
