    If you ever thought about a Mediterranean diet get this book I tried a Mediterranean diet once before and got bored. This book not only gave me the "meal plan" it gave me the nutritional information behind the food so I knew why I was choosing one food over another. Now I know which substitutes I can do to make my non Mediterranean meals healthier. Let's face it everyone wants comfort food. I can now make healthy substitutes to eat healthier even when craving comfort food.     The Most Comprehensive Book about this Diet I have been a fan of the Mediterranean Diet for quite a few years. It isn't a Diet In the true sense of the word. Diet usually means giving up something. Not with this book. All meals are balanced and filling. The list of items you will need in your pantry is very helpful.
