Even though Christmas is over for a couple of days I rather enjoyed this creepy tale. Did you ever hear about a nasty DNA experiment between Santa and reindeer? You don't want to meet up with this kind of creature. Not on Christmas or any other day of the year. Will Nick survive the story unharmed? What about his parents or his brother? Uncanny horror story with a real Christmas monster. Highly recommended if you're fed up with sweets! Even though Christmas is over for a couple of days I rather enjoyed this creepy tale. God, I love Christmas horror - and leave it to Edward Lorn to deliver a nicely cruel bit of it just in time for some wonderful yuletide misery. Secret Santa has a delicious bit of background to it, one that turns on a bit of blackly comical imaginings from a child to a desolate horror in the aftermath. I won't spoil this thing any further - some secrets are better left alone, after all. This one's free for Kindle readers at Amazon, so go get your copy and give it a read today or Christmas morn. This was a fun horror read that had that old-school Stephen King, cinematic feel. It certainly makes me want to check out this author's other work. It felt very real. The family dynamic felt similar to the one I had grown up in. I felt I could connect to the characters, and I even saw my own siblings and family in them. The scares were very subtle yet disturbed, making you feel like you're in the childs shoes, and feeling the true confused terror. The fear of it all, knowing your whole family is gone, and being so confused, and not being able to speak up about it is such a primal fear. It reminded me of scp 2521 I really liked it 5 stars (: It felt very real. The family dynamic felt similar to the one I had grown up in. So, on December 20th Edward Lorn decided he wanted to write a Christmas story. He twitted about it and asked for help for title suggestions. By the end he had narrowed to 3 and the next morning he chose a winner “Secret Santa”. Over the course of the next 3 days this boy wrote, send to edit and make a cover for this insane story. Maybe is not one of his best works (this is only the third story I’ve read from him), but it delivers. It is just a regular story of a boy who’s brother tell a lie just to get him out of his way. But, maybe it wasn’t a lie after all. If you can still find this on Amazon you have to give it a chance. I promise you won’t regret it. It’s a fun horror Christmas story.

Edward Lorn has given us a quick and creepy Secret Santa story that I think anyone will have fun reading. But, as the story says, I should not be talking about it. So just trust me and check this one out when you're in the mood for a fun evil / secret Santa story. Until next Christmas... This short story gives a nice look at how older siblings deal with the younger sibs when they come to them for answers to questions they have. The characters are nicely depicted though you never get to meet the parents. This is not really scary but it does definitely give you a jolt. I promised that I wouldn't. I really shouldn't talk about this, for risk of life and limb, but screw it. Nothing can go wrong right? Secret Santa by Edward Lorn is a short and sweet Christmas tale with a dark twist. I love some horror mixed in with my Christmas. A sinister legend that shouldn't be spoken of leads to an insidious Christmas morning for young Mark. This was the perfect way spend a few minutes of the Christmas holiday. This was a briskly paced, dark, and bite size story from the awesome mind of Edward Lorn. I enjoyed it quite a bit, as I like any plot that finds a way to make Christmas deliciously grim! An inventive take on what the words “Secret Santa” could actually mean. A must read for horror fans over the holidays.
