I think because this movie is so deep in my memory when I was a kid that the the voices, sounds and music played into when I was reading this. The writing is very thin but it's great to see the studio sketches, concept art and paintings from the movie in this. And I'm feeling like watching the movie again. Lion King is my favorite movie of all time. I know that story backwards and forward. So I was elated when I got this beautiful picture book of this story as a birthday gift this year. It’s the story of the lion king and a condensed setting and obviously without the music but they used the beautiful concept art and finished animation throughout the story which I why I loved this so much.
