My name is Tamsin Vale. I’m the last known fairy and I haven’t gotten busted on that yet. I passed my midterms, which seemed like an impossibility a few months ago given I didn’t finish high school and I’m working on that at the same time. But with a lot of hard work and the support of people I’ve helped and new friends, I’m building a life I didn’t think I could ever have My name is Tamsin Vale. I mean, a few months ago I thought I was human with powers and now I’m hooking up with a dragon prince. Oh, and there’s my powerful warlock professor that I’m also involved with. It’s all casual and fun, but I wonder if it would be more if I was able to connect with them emotionally. Is it even really smart to try given what else I’m facing? It’s killing me not to know and to move at a turtle’s pace, but one false move and I’m dead… Along with all hope of them returning to this world with me. Artemis University is an ongoing hot burning reverse harem, university-age paranormal academy series with darker elements, strong language, violence, and a heroine who follows her own moral compass of what is right… And who she ends up giving her heart to.

Series Review: I went back and forth in what to rate this book. There are a lot of things that I didn’t like which were making me lean towards 3 ⭐️, but at the end of the day I did read all 4 books in 2 days and will be reading the next one as soon as it is out so decided to give 4 ⭐️. The good: It is an intriguing and fairly fresh idea. I like the world the author built. The lore and world building is actually one of the main reasons I keep coming back. I want to know what happened to Farie. I Series Review: I went back and forth in what to rate this book. I want the corruption of this world to be righted. I am intrigued about all the races and their societies. All in all that aspect is very well done. I like a lot of the characters. The heroine is strong, feisty, a fighter, someone that has gone through a lot yet manages to be just and not be too dark. The harem is interesting enough, even if they need more depth. I like that from time to time one of them steps on it and issues ensue since that is an actual thing that does occur in relationships. I like that the female has a lot of the power in all of her relationships (even if it sometimes backfires in the building of the relationships). I like a lot of the side characters that are strong and supportive and overall like-able. The bad: Ok so these are the things I was not a fan of and feel some of them would have been vastly improved if the author had a good editor. Yes there are some grammar issues, but I usually don’t care about that unless they are extreme which I didn’t feel was the case here. What did bother me was the story flow. Sometimes I had to go back and reread whole sections because I didn’t understand what the author was trying to say, other times I had to reread because things just came completely out of left field and in a way that did not flow well. Also there has not been enough plot development and we are already 4 books in. Something else is that Tamsin comes across as preachy, a lot. I enjoy a good dress down as much as anyone, however when you are constantly doing it (several times per book) it comes across as preachy, and diminishes the effect. It doesn’t matter if it is other students, parents, faculty, staff, or rulers, you bet Tamsin has bitched them out. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. So no need for so much exposition and just take action. She also likes to reveal a lot of her private life and plans out in public, when it has been established that everyone’s hearing is really good and that there are a lot of spies out to get info on her. That comes across as a dumb thing to do and just poor strategy. Lastly, the sex and relationships also bothered me a bit. The sex is very female dom, which is fine, but makes it a little unbelievable. She, a college student without a lot of relationships, conquests, or a lot of sexual experience really has all these men panting after her like slaves? Ok, that is sexy for a bit if you are able to suspend your disbelief, but not the best way to build a relationship. Add in that it tends to be pretty repetitive on what she wants from them and lots of master/slave play (even if the words are not used to describe it as such) and it makes the sex scenes less sexy. As for the relationships, we are 4 books in and they still can’t decide if they are serious? As a matter of fact there is still 1 member of the harem that has not been added. How many books is this going to be? Also the end of book 4 with how things developed and were left with Craftsman was not my favorite. A lot still needs to happen and be developed in the story, characters, and relationships. The reason I gave it 4 ⭐️ in spite of having some reservations is because I WANT to know what happens next and will be looking forward to the next book. Hopefully the author gets a good editor and some of these issues get resolved.

Uhhhhh!!!!! CLIFFHANGERS!!! Well...where to start. I loved the way this series of books empower women. If only real life works this way. I even enjoyed all the "grandstanding", that Tamsin does. It is supremely entertaining and makes for an enjoyable read. I devoured the 3 books that are out. And even found all the obstacles and the overcoming of them satisfying. Well done. The editing gets better as the books go along (thank you for that). But, I know you have other books to consider and it's my Uhhhhh!!!!! CLIFFHANGERS!!! Well...where to start. But, I know you have other books to consider and it's my own fault getting sooo engrossed in a series that gets you to a point then stops. Only to have to wait several months for the next chapter. So, my reason for the title of not liking cliffhanger. But please continue with Tamsin's story. And I will continue to read them and support you. Thank you.

25 books of this brat?! I'm slowly starting to lose interest in these books. There's all kinds of little dramas popping up all over the place, but there's no real plot development. I'm frustrated with the lack of relationship building between Tamsin and her guys. I want to see committed relationships by this point. Instead, it feels like she's just sleeping around. Tamsin runs headfirst into things without stopping to think. She lashes out at people over the dumbest things. She's just really diff 25 books of this brat?! Also, the author said in the beginning of this book that she thinks there will be 25 books in this series. That's way, way more than I can handle if Tamsin keeps acting like this. I'll probably read the next few books, but I think I'll stop if the FMC doesn't grow up.

I would have rated higher but I’m a bit miffed with the ending I would rate this higher but the part where we left off is ridiculous. Nothing major truly happens in this book with regards to her relationships, but once the story gets rocking it’s almost the end of the book and boom the end. Authors please stop doing this, tie things up (like book plots, not series plots) so we can move to the next book, not all books need cliff hanger endings. Once again we are in school with Tamsin but being glos I would have rated higher but I’m a bit miffed with the ending I would rate this higher but the part where we left off is ridiculous. Once again we are in school with Tamsin but being glossed over for the details to her classes, studying, and being with the guys she is with. This book though did however have more showing than the previous books, but still had tons and tons of telling and glossing over. This one also had tons of showing for parts of the book I didn’t care about. Gloss over her new ventures, or her shopping and decorating I don’t care about that stuff. Do not gloss over fights, classes studying or being with the men. Also what’s with Tamsin looking to “adults” to help or take things over when she’s been on her own, with Mel’s help, since she was 15, I would think she knew how to be an adult by this point. She is an adult. This book centers around the plagues, but then once the object is removed no more plague things are going. It’s like the books are serials because not all the info is searched, or found out. We don’t know who is threatening her. I’m also surprised there were no other actual, again, magical attacks on her. So far everything has gone Tamsin’s way. We’ve not had any bs stopping her or anything. I also don’t completely understand Tamsin or her reactions to things and the reason is because so many feelings or thoughts happen glossed over or off page that the reader can’t line up with the feelings going on. We need more insight into Tamsin’s reactions to things. And yes while I read there is an editor issue with this series, the author stating some of the typos are on purpose, I have a difficult time believing that. There are just too many and often times words are weirdly written, that if you’d try to read the aloud it wouldn’t flow right. Tamsin is finally going to be intimate with Darby, but of course it doesn’t work out that way and now Tamsin is upset by what happened and the end. That is a ridiculous thing to have to wait until the next book to find out the aftermath. And this is why I feel it’s a serial because when they were intimate Darby also tried her blood...and it was an issue. Now Tamsin is upset, which I totally get but to end the book there instead of rectifying the situation is annoying. Yes I know it continues in the next book but that’s my point each book should have their own plot and a whole arc series plot. The books need more plot organization. I don’t like how confusing things are while reading. I often have to reread lines because suddenly Tamsin is talking about something different, or there’s an inference that wasn’t acknowledged. Do it for your reader. Don’t just say things and not explain to the reader the hows or whys. Still I’m invested and I’ve gone this far. I will continue.

3.5-4 stars. While book one in this series blew me away because I had never before met an FMC like Tam before, not to mention how freaking clever was it that we got to skip the whole "your a supernatural" phase because she already knew she was something "else." Never have I read an Academy book where the FMC comes in as a Bad A already, not just with the attitude but also the skills to back it up and teach everyone else a thing or two. Delving into this series I loved how the fact that Tamsin is "Fae" effects her sense of fairness, and justice. However, after starting several other of this author's series I'm finding that all of her FMC's are this way. I will say that even though those traits are common among Erin R Flynn's heroine's. Tamsin is in a bracket all herself. She is probably going on my list for most favorite FMC's somewhere. Book 3 in this series doesn't really get us far into the story line.. but if you read the author's note at the beginning she clearly states that she thinks this is going to be a 25 book series.. Yea my jaw dropped there.. I've come to grips with my disappointment that apparently this series is going to probably take me eons to finish. I just love waiting.. said no reader ever lol. While we didn't make much "progress" with the ongoing "save fairy" storyline we did get to watch Tamsin do her thing and put a bunch of people in their place. Yes Tamsin does a lot of grandstanding on every single topic, but I feel like its a part of her nature to really save the underdogs. I wouldn't actually call the ending a "cliffhanger"... I mean nobody was fixing or anything but we did leave off during a hot and heavy moment that seemed to have lost control. I really can't wait to see what all is in store for this series and I hope the author hurries the heck up lol. Can't rush greatness I guess.. and all that jazz.

So funny, and sweet, and riveting I love this story! ! ! I cannot wait for another book to be released. I need to know what happens with Darby, Hudson, and Julian. I wonder if Lucca and Mason will still fight over her... sorry for all of your editor issues, and I did notice a few corrections needed throughout, thankful for your explanation, I was able to look beyond those and still enjoy the great story, keep up the good work !

I am all for a female defending herself and standing up for her ideals, but those ethics and ideals should be consistent. The sex keeps being... Meh. The only acceptable foreplay is man going down on FMC, that happens at nauseam. Because apparently the tastes like amazing fruits or something. That's it really. Also as a side note: FMC blow raspberries every other page. Like really. Political discussion in the middle of the queens and kings of races? She blows a raspberry. Discussion on death and blood and violence? Raspberry. Discission on sex? Yes, a raspberry.

After that ending I wish I had book 4 to read I truly do love this author. Tamalin is a strong willed female. A lot of stuff happens in this book. No Progression There is no plot progression happening at all. There no growth in relationships or the main characters. The main character is very petty and childish. For needing to fly under the radar she picks unnecessary arguments. She blows up over words a LOT. Her character is too inconsistent. Really liked it. I'm going to start with the author's note at the beginning of the book, saying she planned on doing a 25-book series for Artemis University, so now I get why it is really slow paced and why we don't see much of fairy powers and fairies. This one had a lot more drama in it, and a few things that bugged me. I hate how she wasn't honest about her guys at times. And then the cliffhanger ending was nuts and totally out of no where. Enjoyable I really like these books, even if I find the diatribes or like fairy indulges in a bit long winded. She may be all fire and steel, but she makes some dang good points - and she has the power to back them up.

Why do so many strong, capable FMC's turn into judgy, arrogant bitches? Tamsin doesn't do blow jobs because she belives men think less of women who do them but she has zero issue demanding oral from all of her suitors. She doesn't judge people for being poor or without influence but she is crazy harsh and judgmental about anyone with those things, even when she makes a point of saying she doesn't mean to lump them all together. She doesn't judge people for being poor or without influence but she is crazy harsh and judgmental about anyone with those things, even when she makes a point of saying she doesn't mean to lump them all together. One of the things I enjoy most as a reader in PNR is that the same rules do not always apply, yet Tamsin barely has a rudimentary understanding of the supe world and is making judgements left, right and sideways. I can see the comparision of arranged marriages as human trafficing but I can also see that if ethically handled, could provide protection, as we have been shown how predatory Elders can be, and a whole host of good-not-nefarious benefits. Instead of delving into that, everyone just seems to nod and accept its this horrible thing based off of human standards. Frankly that happens a lot. I know a lot of morals are fairly universal but why have a whole, diverse world of supernaturals if they are going to hemmed in by how very narrow human viewpoints can be? We are only being shown the 'bad', we have fleeting interactions with 'good' characters and a whole bunch of prejudice. Its really hard to blame the other students for being the way they are when Tamsin acts the way she has. She abuses the power of her money and support system, sure her reasons may be based in good intentions but she does as she pleases just as much as she reviles the 'elites' for doing the same. The rules don't apply to her. Ever. She can make threats, have affairs with teachers, read minds against others will with impunity(as she can control it now) and keep big secrets but if anyone else makes an accidental misstep, she comes down on them hard. We saw it with Melody, we saw it with Darby and we saw it over the eat so much jibe. She doesn't ask, she just does and that applies with all her relationships be it friends, lovers or potential lovers. I am also not super happy with how the author has more or less stopped with the world building despite us still not knowing a damn thing. We've had a couple of glances at one of the dragon kingdoms but I still don't understand the hierarchy of how or why the King/Queen titles have been replaced by Alpha especially since Tamsin refers to Holden as a prince. I was interested in this story but the further I get in the series, the less I like it.

Working on finishing high school and figuring out what courses to do over the winter break. She and Darby also start doing 'normal dating' and his choice is eating challenges he knows she'd like. The discovery of fae fruit and also the fairy dust from the hellhounds just made Tamsin's life more interesting. Back at school Natalie and some of the others want to start a business restoring and reinventing used clothing. Of course Tamsin's going to help with that. Parts of Tamsin's life in the human world surface as the elite girls try to get her kicked out. Then there's those who will go to whatever lengths they can to get her to declare her species. In this case mimicking the biblical plagues, first water to blood that really made a mess. Then the next day frogs, oh boy! More eating challenges with Darby but also with protection. It's Tamsin who figures out what's going on with this before the last of the plagues hit. Not to mention all the plotting going on around her to find out what she is to put an end to this. Plenty of fun, intrigue, some pretty horrible errors of omission, and sizzling heat.

I have resigned myself to the fact that the MC, Tamsin, says “nip it in the butt” even though the idiom is really supposed to be “nip it in the bud,” as many really people fuck that up every day. I like the slow pace of the series overall, and this book does it well by a slow plot thats punctuated with the plagues to keep it interesting. I also like how the MC actually gets into fights that last more than one conversation, she says dumb stuff she does and doesn’t mean and they do too, and then the make up makes sense, including her not being 100% magically happy with them immediately. I don’t mind that much of the mystery remains of Tamsin’s origin story, but I do question that She doesn’t ever ruminate on who her parents were. I know she’s busy, but still I’d be a little curious if one of the houses I inherited belonged to my parents if I was her. Some MCs in other stories get too focused on discovering who their parents were, so I get and appreciate that’s not a main driving factor of her self discovery, just a thought.

My Thoughts There is a lot going on here - though there always is. Darby and Tamsin date which proves to have serious challenges. I absolutely love Hudson, but man he has some dense moments; I think Tamsin is sending some mixed signals herself though. About the Characters Tamsin is intuitive and quick-thinking. She's also a closet cuddler. Craftsman is caring, supportive, and once in a while clueless. Hudson is sexy and caring. Darby is an incredibly sweet boyfriend, and they're very cute together. Lucca is protective and sexy, but a little more subtle about it. Things I Liked I like the fae dogs a LOT. The plagues certainly kept things interesting and had people working together for the most part. Thing I Didn't Like I don't really know how I feel about Lucca and he gets a bit pushy. It also bothers me that while they discovered what was causing the plagues, they never did discover who. More Thoughts The ending of this book was a bit disturbing and very sad. Oh, and Tamsin being a fairy is the world's worst kept secret (and yet the world still hasn't figured it out) as two more teachers know about her. Does it standalone? Even less so than the last. Bottom Line This third installment is an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride that ends on an emotional note. I still want so much more!

Hate the endings but can't wait for more I get so sucked in to this storyline. There have been moments Tamsin was a bit too full of herself contradictory to how her character usually is but I love the growth of her throughout the storyline. I would like to have more info on what's happening in fairie it really took a backseat in this book and I miss her and Hudson. He got shoved way to the side in favor of Darby for that to be what looked like a major mistake with the way the book ended...disappo Hate the endings but can't wait for more I get so sucked in to this storyline. I dont necessarily want her and Darby to split but miss her story with Hudson who is so sweet patient and understanding and it's so obvious how much he really cares about her and she just totally blew him off in this book. I can't wait for more but hopefully the author will stop adding so much to her plate when she's not even able to continue all the other parts in the story that have been building up just to fizzle out in favor of some new problem that only she can handle. I'm really looking forward to the next book,I just hope everything going on gets attention instead of just adding more side plots.

Dear Ms Erin Erin I love you and I hate you for writing this series. I am obsessed with it. The character development is extraordinary and there are so many story arcs going on but its not confusing. MC is one bad b and I adore her. She doesn’t tale any crap. Also I love there is enough pace for me not to get bored but slow enough that the narrative has time and space to build. I have had next to no sleep after starting this series because I can’t stop reading. I only hate you because I’m impatien Dear Ms Erin Erin I love you and I hate you for writing this series. I only hate you because I’m impatient and these endings are always unfinished obviously because there is way more to the series. I really wish all the books were out immediately but I would never want a compromise on this incredible quality. Absolutely stellar. I’m normally very good at guessing story arcs because I have read so much but I wasn’t expecting this. I will definitely reading your other series after I’ve finished the released books and try not to complain too much because magic like this takes time. Thank you for becoming one of my new favourite authors.

This book series are 🔥 This book series is 🔥 so far and I doubt that will lessen as she writes the series. Erin R. Flynn is an amazing writer and she doesn't write books how normal writers do which makes her unique as well as her writing style. I love how she puts attitude and lingos into her book that most authors would leave out and you can really get a taste for who the author is as a person and what they believe in, which I think is important to have. Also a side note to the author, its just a suggestion but I think "Pour it up" by Rihanna and "Swagger Jagger" by Cher Lloyd really portrays Tamsin very well. Just thought you would like to add it in the book to give readers another feel for who Tamsin is as well as the characters in the books, if you know what I mean 😉😉 you know as a flex on them. 🤯😂👌🏽😎 Alright but all in all, seriously, I love your books. Keep writing them and keep up the wonderful work. 😍💕

Another great read. I have become a big fan of Erin's writing and I had to stop reading the book I was enjoying ( something I have only ever done for 1 other author ) to read this book as soon as it hit my kindle. As per with all the other books I raced through it and am disappointed it's finished and will have to wait for the next book. I can't decide which of the series I want more of first, I have enjoyed them all. If you are reading this far on a review for the 3rd book in a series I am proba Another great read. Thanks for entertaining us with your hard work. Oh if anybody is interested the other author would be Laurence E Dahners.

Another great book in a kick a$$ series! You definitely have theme for your MCs, but it's a great one. Even though they're all similar in some ways they are each unique. The MC doesn't encounter a problem and fix it just like that or grow as a character all of a sudden. They are strong but damaged, and they work to over come their own hurdles while growing. My favorite series are: Seraphine Thomas, Karma Bakery, Artemis University, and Garner House. While I can't wait for the next Artemis Univers Another great book in a kick a$$ series! While I can't wait for the next Artemis University story, and I'm so excited to read that you are thinking of doing around 25 books in this series, I also can't wait for the next in all the other series I listed. Expecially the Karma Bakery series as its been so long since the last release. Can't wait to read your next book!

I've really been enjoying this series, but I have to admit that this book was a bit of a disappointment and not as enjoyable as the other two books. One of the main issues is sentence structure/flow. There are way too many sentences that just don't flow smoothly, that are stilted and disjointed and some even have words missing. Should be something an editor or alpha/beta readers can point out and help make things flow better. On a personal note for me, I wasn't really a fan of Darby - as a charact I've really been enjoying this series, but I have to admit that this book was a bit of a disappointment and not as enjoyable as the other two books. On a personal note for me, I wasn't really a fan of Darby - as a character, love interest and definitely not as her chance of a sweet healthy romance. Also couldn't understand why Tamsin wasn't telling Darby about Hudson? I'm really hoping the author can work on the editing and sentence flow, as I won't be able to struggle through this for 25 books...

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. The way this ended was so horrible 🙃 FML I want to keep reading so that's not the last impression I have of the series but also don't want to read anymore of this... Ugh I loved book one, liked book two, made it through book three by hyping myself up through it. I'm out. None of her guys even know anything about the and the whole plan to stretch it 25 books is reeeally not helping my faith in the series. Feeling kinda bummed but also like not in a book slump more like excited to read something else now. Praying that whatever I read next is amazing so I can wipe that ending from my brain asap

Wow, wow, wow, wooooowwwww, WOW! I'm so glad I don't have to wait for the next book to come out! I am sitting here with my mouth still open over the ending of this book. My adrenaline is through the roof. I can't wrap my head around it! The storyline has been great through all three books so far and each character continues to grow and dig their claws in to the reader. It's well written and very unique. Needs to update sentence flow I love Erin Flynn's ability to come up and execute a story. That said I would prefer if she can make the sentences flow better. I felt that the sentences were missing words and overall it was repetitive and childish. Although it is getting better compared to her earlier works. Kudos Ms Flynn. I love Tamsin. I love her character and what she stands for. I love the people she surrounds herself with. I love the world building. I definitely will buy the next book but hop Needs to update sentence flow I love Erin Flynn's ability to come up and execute a story. Did to sentence structure and childish words here and there it kept jerking me out of the story.
