Later, they come face to face with Captain Greybeard, a ruthless rogue of a pirate, and his buccaneer crew on board their ship the Jolly Roger. Steve and Alex’s situation quickly goes from bad to worse as the cunning pirate captain kidnaps them, but there’s even worse to come as Steve and Alex find themselves on Ghost Island, an island well known for its ghostly tales of supernatural pirates and a fabled treasure. There, they are confronted with skeletal ghost pirates and a mythical treasure that turns out to be cursed. Now it’s up to Steve and Alex to find a way to break the curse and end the cycle of terrible things that happen to anyone who comes into contact with the treasure. But to make matters worse, Greybeard and his crew have sailed away, abandoning Steve and Alex and leaving them marooned on an island without food or water. How are they going to survive and when, if ever, will they be rescued?
