Great guide for founders exploring private equity partnerships and are unsure how to determine the best partners. Powell has a nice combination of education and stories to highlight key points. You will hear a lot about Bill her boss who first introduced her to private equity and mentored her throughout her career.

A very good read..poignant with application beyond private equity I highly recommend this book to anyone early in the career process or transitioning. A lot of good anecdotes with sage advice. I personally am not interested in private equity..my focus more research grants and proposals..but I would recommend this book to any graduate student or transitioning military veteran.
