What a terrific collection of PNR stories by such talented authors! In GARRIDAN’S MATE by Rebecca Hefner, Garridan, who is a commander in the army, has been tasked with training the first class of female warriors. Among them is Siora, a fierce fighter who is loyal to her father and wants to lead her own battalion in the upcoming conflict against the demon Bakari. I’ve followed this series since the beginning and one thing I really love is the way the world of vampires and slayers has evolved over time, with couples from older books getting mated and having children we’ve gotten to watch grow up and pair off, and also watching social progress come to the kingdom, like the kick-butt vampire/slayer women demanding their males allow them to fight alongside them in battle. It’s also fun getting to see characters from previous books pop up, and I really liked seeing Latimus in this one! Siora and Garridan have a fierce chemistry sparking during training, and especially during their special private training sessions where things get heated. 🔥❤🔥 I also really liked that Siora is depicted as muscular and statuesque in build, as a true warrior. There’s some jealousy at first over some of the other women in the book she considers more traditional mates for Garridan, but when these two come together it is scorching.🔥🔥🔥 This is a deliciously steamy PNR that left me eager to read the next book in the series. Side plots involving scheming parents trying a bit of matchmaking introduced some characters I’m hoping we might see in a future novella!

I believe it’s the first book I’ve read by the author, but it won’t be the last. I enjoyed the characters and the way everyone was more connected than they seemed. I would have loved to see more of the scorned woman, at least in her mind, and I really hope the author brings us more stories about the pack. This quick read was more than worth the time. 4 stars Bite Me Another Day by Zoe Forward Love me enough These two are a complete communication breakdown that almost drove me to madness, but I’m so glad I hung on for the ride. The author did a fantastic job with the characters. I love their easy enjoyment of each other and the way family really came through in the end. This was a wonderful book and first time experience with this author. I can’t wait to read more. 4 stars Sun-Burnt by Lori King The sun will come out Oh my! The author took us on a wild ride with this one. We went from high brow society to back woods justice in a few short pages, and it was absolutely amazing! I really enjoyed the characters and that instant connection they seemed to have. I love the way the family banded together, and the rush of action and danger. This book is the perfect addition to this collection and I look forward to more stories by this author. 5 stars Born Wilde by Lia Davis You can’t run forever This poor alpha! Not only does he get a strong, sassy mate, who he loves to pieces, but she just so happens to be a commitment phob. This book was a fast paced read, that drew me in from the beginning and kept a hold until the very end. I love the characters and the fact we got to visit some of my old favorites. I absolutely loved these wolves and can’t wait to read more about them in the future. 5 stars Moon Claimed by Cecilia Lane Prettiful inside and out I always love where this author’s imagination takes me! She has these amazing characters and builds them a fantastic world that I just can’t wait to get lost in. These two might have had to rush their relationship, but the author certainly didn’t rush their story. She built it up with all of the detail and excitement I have come to expect and I can’t wait to see what happens next! 5 stars Sacred Shift by Theresa Hissong Stand proud This author has such a way with alphas. I love her strong males and their equally strong females. Each one has gone through so much, but always finds the way to their HEA. This book was amazing and I enjoyed the many layers to the story. It makes me want to go back and read her other books all over again. 5 stars Her Dragon Mate by Elle Boon My poor Belle This was such an emotional book! I love that we finally got to see Belle's story, but it was so painful to go through. Not to worry though, in this author's typical style there is laughter, inappropriate humor, a dashing hero, and a HEA, and a setup of more to come. These characters were so easy to relate to, they were kept in the dark about so many things, and so much was conspiring against them. But they held true to the belief that everything happens for a reason and their love never waned in the eons they were apart. This was a fantastic addition to this author's library and I can't wait to see what she has on the horizon for us next 5 stars Shifter Mountain by C.D. Gorri Love can break through stone I am in love with this book and this new series! The characters are phenomenal! I love how they both came from a place of hurt and had to emotionally find their way to each other. The author did a fantastic job of linking this book to her world and other series, it just fit seamlessly into the flow without having to force it. And I absolutely loved how she has already set us up for the next two books. I can’t wait to see what happens next! 5 stars

Garridan's Mate is part of this anthology. I really loved it. Etherya's Earth book 6.5 is Rebecca Hefner at her best. This series is totally addictive and this book is no exception. I love Garridan, with all his alphaness, but full of sweet and so sure of who he is and what he wants. Siora is a kick-a$$ girl, who knows her worth on the battlefield. I want to be just like her. The chemistry between them is off the charts and it will leave you fanning yourself. This hands-down hot-as-hell, melt-your-panties page-turner is an amazing read, full of delicious characters who make us swoon, laugh, get angry, and so many more feelings it's like you are inside the book living the story with them. I can't wait to see what comes next. I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Gorri-Sensei really did go up to bat like the Sultan Of Swat HIMSELF! I mean she straight up hammered this book out of the park. I’m sooooo not biased on this one!! 😇😅. Our MC Keeton Grey is a total badass mountain lion shifter that’s gone hermit in the woods of the Garden State and low and behold his thick and delicious mate stumbles into his paws. 😋🤤. Now, our Female MC Lena is my kind of girl 100%. Yessir!! She is totally 🥵 hot. She was treated so bad in this book. I have no idea why someone would treat such a luscious beauty this way but obviously they weren’t raised right… I wanted to monkey stomp this pos ex of hers but Gorri has a habit of bringing that frisky side out of me 😂🤦🏽‍♂️ I swear the woman is dangerous. When Lena meets misfortune she checks into a mysteriously familiar Oceanside resort where another suspiciously familiar character named Joelle checks her in 😁😜. Okay okay. If you slackers out there aren’t paying attention it’s the same resort from Charming His Virgin Mate. So if you’re behind…..um WHY?? get a move on it!! 🤣 that book was awesome! Okay, back to the review this book was amazingly well written. I’m a huge fan of less drama more romance and more cuddle time. I don’t mind the drama between the couples doing silly stuff I can come to expect that and we got some of that in this book. With the help of Yogi 😂 no booboo (you’ll get it when you read it) things worked out great. Keeton and Lena had such hot chemistry. They fit so well together, she saw how she should be treated and he saw what he was missing not isolating himself from the world. One thing that was very touching was when he was opening up about himself and she reacted to him in such a profound way that I was just left kind of speechless. Keeton relates to me in many ways because I myself have shut myself away from the world and I hate people and don’t really trust others as well. That’s due to a few reasons revolving around dishonesty, the death of a child and the loss of my family after. I always try to relate to characters and have transparency in my reviews. I have my brothers and that’s about it. That’s a very exclusively small club. I hope that maybe there’s a Lena out there for this bear in the cards one day but only God will determine that. It’s like I’m totally in Keeton’s head. Also, it’s so weird writing a review about Keeton 🤔🤔 for a number of reasons 🙃. Even though we have a book about an MC that’s a shut in living in the woods Gorri still sneaks in her fabulous way of thinking. Family values and fellowship is still at the forefront. Our hermit is close to his 2 other brothers. They have either other and they’ve lived through hell and back. They are there for each other. Lena also cares about family, fellowship and celebration. She’s expressed this in why she loves to cook and cater for others. Lena, although who seems to have had a cruel upbringing and issues with her mom may have worked things out. Communication is always key here. Letting someone know how you feel, how they’ve done you wrong and what needs to be done to move forward is always the key to any healthy relationship healing process. Gorri always has her bases covered. The next two books looks fabulous. Yogi and Simba are going to have a very exciting book and I can’t wait to read their stories. It’s a shame I have to wait until 2022. But that’s the life of a reader… am I right?? 😭🥺. In the meantime our resident superhero author is always churning out world class stories for her fans to swoon over and characters to fall in love with and villains to cuss out. Please check out her work and sign up for her newsletter. You won’t regret it and you will always be entertained by her work. This bear 🐻 gives this book 5 lions 🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁 and another 5 radiant stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. It was so mega good. I received this book from the publisher as an ARC for my unbiased review

So far I've read Elle Boon's, her dragon mate and I absolutely loved it. I wish this was longer because I didn't want it to end. This is Belle and Nikai's story and it was definitely worth it. If you've read Elle's books then you know this has been a long time coming. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! So far I've read Elle Boon's, her dragon mate and I absolutely loved it. I read an ARC copy of Rebecca Hefner's novella "Garridan's Mate", but have not yet read the rest of this anthology. These two bad-ass Vampyre soldiers are committed to doing whatever is necessary to save their fellow countrymen, and each other, from the forces of evil. We were initially introduced to Siora in the sixth novel of the Etherya's Earth series "The Cryptic Prophecy". I distinctly remember the first scene where she was introduced to interact with one of our main characters in that book I read an ARC copy of Rebecca Hefner's novella "Garridan's Mate", but have not yet read the rest of this anthology. These two bad-ass Vampyre soldiers are committed to doing whatever is necessary to save their fellow countrymen, and each other, from the forces of evil. We were initially introduced to Siora in the sixth novel of the Etherya's Earth series "The Cryptic Prophecy". I distinctly remember the first scene where she was introduced to interact with one of our main characters in that book and immediately thinking, "Mkay, so she's definitely gonna need her own book one day." Lo and behold, wish for something with every fiber of your being, and you shall receive. While Siora and Garridan don't get their own full-length novel, we get this perfect intermediary novella which essentially takes place in the last few weeks leading up to the epic battle which took place at the end of book six, and concludes with us in the same timeframe as when that book also ended. This novella was truly the perfect vehicle to tell the story of these two soldiers. It makes sense with their combat training that their love would blossom in the close quarters leading up to the final battle. Had there been an attempt to squeeze their story into book six in between the scenes of Callie and Brecken's romance, I don't think it would have received the attention it deserved. Therefore, this novella provides us with the perfect opportunity to see their story as a stand-alone rather than an afterthought, while still fitting into the overall general timeline of the series. Smart move by the author for sure! Do you know how I realized this book was going to be amazing within just the first few pages? Easy. Battalion commander + soldier = sparring. Lots...and lots...of sparring. And lemme tell ya, that is Siora and Garridan's physical activity of choice throughout the vast majority of this read, which of course inevitably leads to a more sultry pastime. When Garridan first offered to train with Siora for a few hours in the evenings I immediately said to myself, "If these two don't end up with Siora flat on her back and Garridan splayed out over her thighs with her hands held down by both of his at some point, you can revoke my romance novel fan-card right now." Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long at all for this blessed scenario to occur. The true benefits of a novella: you don't have to wait around before you get to the good stuff. And believe me when I tell you there was plenty of delicious stuff to enjoy in this one. Sometimes I don't always understand half-books in between full-length novels of a series, but in this instance it really worked. We get just a small glimpse of the suspense of battle at the very end of this short read, but for the most part this novella provides us with a welcome breather in between some of the more intense action happening in the series as a whole. We primarily get to indulge in the passionate scenes of Siora and Garridan learning how perfect they are for each other. I also appreciated that Garridan never pushed Siora into admitting they were destined mates before she was ready. When she expressed hesitancy over a future with Garridan, he had the wherewithal to give her the space she needed to realize on her own that they were meant for each other. Absolute perfection!

This review is for Garridan’s Mate by Rebecca Hefner. I love this series, I love the way the stories have evolved with time. And when I get the chance to read another book from this series, I snatched it out of the authors hands 😉 It is a short story, but that doesn’t mean anything was missing. Garridan, friend to Commander Latimus (his book The Elusive Sun) he’s also the General to the king’s army. He’s an aristocrat that wanted to fight and not Lord it over his lands! (He’s father dies enough for both of them!) Being cajoled into bonding with a high ranking female is not on his list of priorities (and anyway the female in question doesn’t see him that way, she has eyes for another!) But once a certain female vampire joined the ranks, he’s set his sight on winning the coming battle and then winning the most stubborn female he’s ever come across! Siora has worked hard to be where she is today. She might have come from lowly stock (her father is a farmer) but she’s got great ambition, she wants to be the first female to lead a battalion in the King and Queens army. But proving herself has been an uphill battle! But Siora is nothing but determined! And if that means taking lessons on combat from the leader who stirs her blood and anger, then so be it. It starts with a training session that soon leads to anger then uncontrolled passion! Siora and Garridan know that they need to keep their liaison a secret, but Garridan wants more! Can he convince the spiky female he wants a bonded mate and a soldier to fight by his side? Siora is well aware their “training sessions” are on a limited time scale, he won’t want a lowly female when he can have the lovely vampire aristocrat. She needs to keep her eye on her goal and not get sidetracked! Can they overcome the obstacles that life throws at them? Can they work together and end the threat to Etherya? And can we have a happy ending for a few more characters that I’ve fallen in love with? Please 🙏 🦋 I am leaving this review voluntarily after being sent a free book.

This review is for Blood Fortune by Julie Morgan... Can I just say Love at First Bite?. Julie Morgan has done an amazing story about vampires and witches. She takes us back to the 1770's and it is beautifully expressed. I felt like I was right there experiencing Venice as I was reading. Once you start Sophia's journey, you can't stop, it is that addictive and you definitely need to read her story right away. This review is for Blood Fortune by Julie Morgan... This review is in regards to Hidden Shifter - I really liked the story but I am trying to figure out what universe the story takes place in. It reads as if it is part of a series since it is lacking a back story of human and shifter interactions and the council that governs them. If it is a standalone, I feel it would benefit from a little more content on the world the main characters live in. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

She's surprised when her past rises like the dead and comes looking for her. The truths she believed about her mate might actually be lies. When Nikai confronts her after so long, she's confused and scared and maybe a little hopeful. Belle absolutely deserves a happily ever after. It's up to Nikai to convince her it should be with him. Wonderful short story. It was sweet and steamy and smexy and angsty and everything you'd want in a paranormal romance. I loved reading Belle's (and LuLa's) history and meeting Nikai and the other dragons. Highly recommend. Many thanks to the author for an advance copy of this book. I must say that I was very surprised at Nakai's naiveté at thinking he could put his relationship with Belle on hold so he could become king. To make life changes in the dragon world so quickly as to make it easier for them to be together, and make Belle appear more pleasing to the dragon realm, and therefore the people would accept her with open and loving arms. Well... that didn't turn out too well.. He's a male, (insert eye roll) and we all know how their minds work.... Good thing that Lula was curious about her father, and her parents as a couple. And that Nakai finally saw her. I love a good book with family issues and a happy ending. And a couple of kicka$$ women dragons who cry jeweled tears are absolutely awesome! Loved it.... Lovely book ELLE BOON! Can we have another please?!

My review is for Elle Boon's Her Dragon Mate. I've long anticipated Belle's story, the pink dragon from other stories from Ms Boon. Whilst I knew that there was a backstory waiting to be told, and all he had gone through I really felt for her early life, however she is feisty and takes no mess from anyone. So many twists and turns in the tale can't wait to see how the relationship between Belle, her mate and Lula develops over time. This book is an anthology of paranormal stories which I am looking forward to reading. However, I received an ARC of one of the stories from the author and this is my honest, voluntary review. They've been friends their whole lives and both want to take it to the next level although they both believe they're the only one who does. When Noah suddenly shifts, the pack believes his twin sister is dead but both he and Amber feel otherwise. They're facing two problems. First, Noah's wolf is not connected to him and, second, there's a new kind of demon prowling their city. Can Amber and Noah save his sister, defeat the demon, forge his wolf, and make a life together? I love this series, both for the setting and for the shifters, and this book is no exception. The story was well-written with well-rounded characters. It's an engaging story that drew me in from start to finish. Full of intrigue, suspense, and romance with a paranormal side, this was an excellent read. I'm looking forward to more from this series. I highly recommend this story.

Her Dragon Mate - Elle Boon Belle finally gets her HEA and we get to see the cast of characters that we all love and laugh with. Nikai has come back to claim his mate, but Belle wants nothing to do with him due to her leaving under false pretenses. Introducing more characters, Asia and Egypt, also shows us the way to the next chapter in this wonderful series. Always a pleasure to read these interconnected books, hilarity and alpha, a great combination. Makes me smile. Shifter Mountain by C.D. Gorri Lena needs a break after catching her fiance cheating. The last thing she expects to find is someone like Keeton. Their chemistry was instant. However, Keeton is determined to keep himself hidden away from the rest of the world. Finding his mate should be the happiest moment of his life. If he continues to deny fate, he just might lose her. Another great read! I can't wait for more. This is my honest opinion of an advanced copy I received. Shifter Mountain by C.D. Gorri Lena needs a break after catching her fiance cheating. My review is for Her Dragon Mate by Elle Boon Belle's story is just heartbreaking. After a horrible confrontation with who she thought was the Dragon she loves, Belle finds herself in the Fey Realm. But her and Nikai's story is far from over. Her Dragon Mate takes us on a great adventure in these fantasy realms. These shifters can be all dangerous and deadly but are as sexy as they come. Elle Boon has given us quite a fantastical journey with this book. Can't wait to see what's next. My review is for Her Dragon Mate by Elle Boon Belle's story is just heartbreaking. This looks like a great collection of stories. Some authors I know and love, others I've heard of and the rest I look forward to discovering their words. Review for Her Dragon Mate by Elle Boon. Belle finally gets her HEA and we learn more about her past and what made her who she is as a mother and Dragon. When Belle learned she was pregnant she was tricked in thinking the man she loved didn't want her or the baby so Belle left the Dragon realm and ended in the Fae realm. Lulu was born and with the help of Jenna the Fae Queen raised her sweet daughter with the knowledge that if they were ever found it could very well mean the death of both Belle a Review for Her Dragon Mate by Elle Boon. As with all Elle Boon's stories there is plenty of sass, sarcasm and laugh out loud moments. Creed is back and funnier then ever and we also get to visit with old friends from the Iron Wolves MC. Can't wait for Asia and Egypt's story!
