Highly recommend!!! I lpve the adventures that the poetess/author takes us on throughout the 4 different seasons, visiting different locations and showing so many cool activities. Extra aweet is that the book is dedicated to her three year old neice; precious and priceless. I am a huge fan of poetry; with that being said, sometimes the rhythm can get tricky if you aren't an avid reader of poetry. Read it a couple of times to get the rhythm down just right. The book talks about the four seasons - Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring and all the things and activities we do during that season in rhyming poem form. The book talks about changes in the environment - colour of leaves and flowers, fruits; different festivals, shopping, and various fun activities children and parents do in each season. Illustrations are too cute. I read the book on KU to a 6 years old.

Adorable Book 🥰 I loved how to split it into different parts where it was Summer, Fall, Spring, and Summer. This had my interest from the start. The main character is super cute and the illustrations are amazing!!! I truly enjoyed her sitting on the Enoch with her dad and seeing a beautiful rainbow 🌈 it was so refreshing to see how active both her parents were in her life. This books is super cute ☺️

Perfect poems for children Such a lovely book of pens for children. I like how the author writes about all things that children love for each season of the year. Beautiful illustrations! Yes I think children will relate to these poems and think of the fun activities written about. Perhaps it may encourage them to try their hand at poetry too!

Lots of adventures throught the four seasons The story is great for learning about the different activities, festivities, and colors of the four seasons in a fun and memorable way. This book could very well be broken down into four books but I like it all in one. Whether home-schooling, or teaching in the classroom, this is a book I highly recommend.

Rhymes that flow through the Rhythms of the Year This is written in the style of a rhyming diary. Nearly each page is a complete story in itself. The extended family plays an important role in the family. I like how the author included holidays and provides glimpses to how much fun they are. The illustrations contain great color schemes that match the seasons.

Delightful! This is a precious rhyming story that brings back so many memories of my own childhood. This is a great picture book that teaches the 4 seasons and all the activities and fun you can have with each. Characters, illustrations, story are all wonderful. I gave four stars because sometimes the text was difficult to see in front of the pictures.

Adventures for every Season! This is such a cute book, following Xyla and all of her many adventures that she had with her family throughout the year. It's broken down into seasons, and each chapter/season could totally be a separate book on it's own. I could see children wanting to read a different chapter each night. Great read! Fun poetry for kids We enjoyed ready the poems of the seasons. Our favorite seasons were the poems from winter and spring. Poems that are placed over illustrations a little difficult to read. Love the happy and colorful illustrations that bring the poems to life.
