I thought this book was awesome. I am into book 2 now and have ordered book 5 so I'll be able to read the whole collection. I've never had the desire to see a real Bigfoot, but I do love reading about them and watching shows about them on the TV. This book is great because each person gets to tell their own story and it is amazing how much they are alike. My favorite story so far is about the Bigfoot that walked around talking to himself. Entertaining anecdotes about encounters with Bigfoot/sasquatch. The lack of specifics in most of these stories detracts from their credibility; very little detail on dates, places, aftermath of the incidents. The stories read more like urban/outdoor legends in places, like tales passed on by oral tradition. There are a few books like this around.

Small Collection of Encounter Tales This collection is from a new author who is sharing stories of Bigfoot encounters. This is a very short collection, hopefully there will be more stories to come. Not particularly frightening with a couple standouts.

The last few stories were the best of the book. I am still wondering if the girl's husband in "There Knocks in the Garden " knew her boyfriend was on the front porch? Besides that, the book is a decent read. The last few stories were the best of the book. Bigfoot Horror Enjoyable but short read. Nice to have some stories that are a little different, but still ring true. Good addition to the cryptid library.
