3.5 stars - there’s not a lot of plot here - not in the sense of an extended storyline . Just Chewie interacting with various superheroes, heroines, and villains from the marvel universe. There all short, and don’t feature any text. You don’t really need the text, though - the illustrations are quite expressive and it’s easy to follow what’s happening. The stories and illustration style are quite cute, and had me laughing out loud at a few parts. I liked it quite a bit, and would recommend it to 3.5 stars - there’s not a lot of plot here - not in the sense of an extended storyline . This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. This was cute and the artwork was GORGEOUS, but I think I don't know enough of the Marvel Universe to understand some of the humor in this. Also, I recommend this in real book format, so you can really soak in the artwork. A screen just really doesn't do it justice. Recommended for Marvel fans who also understand and appreciate the way cats behave. 3, solidly cute, stars. My thanks to NetGalley and Viz Media LLC for an eARC copy of this book to read and review. This was funny adaption of what different character from Marvel would interact with a cat. As a Marvel lover and animal lover, I loved this collaboration! I'd definitely recommend this book for a holiday gift! This was funny adaption of what different character from Marvel would interact with a cat. I loved this book! It didn't have words but you didn't need them as the comic was so funny without them. I enjoyed the mix of normal cat shenanigans and crazy superhero situations. I was always excited to see the transition page to see how the hero would adopt to chewie or how they would be hanging out. It was also really nice to get a brief description of each marvel character, those in the know can skip past them but those who don't know every single character get a nice introduction. The only thing that was slightly off in the book was the giant watermark in the middle of each page, I understand marvel doesn't want this material stolen but it was hard to tell what was going on sometimes, especially in the X-Men scenes. But this book is so cute, I would definitely go back and read it again! Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for my unbiased opinion.

GOOSE! AKA CHEWIE ! Who doesn't love the adventures of a cat... flerken. Quick fun read and had a few laughs. I particularly loved the Deadpool and the Guardians of the Galaxy moments, what were your favourites? If you like cats, read this. If you like Marvel, read this. If you like both, you'll just adore this. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the author, the publishers and the NetGalley team for providing me with an Advanced copy. Marvel Meow features Captain Marvel's cat/flerken Chewie interacting with and causing hijinks with various superheroes/teams such as the Avengers, X-Men, Inhumans, Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool, and many more in short (just a few pages, if that) comic vignettes. The vast majority of the stories are wordless, allowing Nao Fuji's artwork to really shine and speak for itself. This a cute comic that both die hard and casual fans can enjoy. This delivers on the premise of a cute cat and Marvel characters. It's adorable. Features a nice mix of characters from the comics and characters fans of the MCU are familiar with. (Just a note for parents: definitely an appropriate read for kids but worth having a convo about proper ways to pick up a cat since Chewie is manhandled a few times in this book. Flerkins can take it - real cats can't!) This delivers on the premise of a cute cat and Marvel characters. It's adorable. A slice of life and nearly wordless journey through Marvel with a cute cat. The Avengers here are the MCU movies, but Doctor Strange has Bats (a ghost dog) and Bachalo's art style. I was trying to place the X-Men as before Krakoa but Hope was among the mutants. I loved the manga art style and the spot color of red/magenta and blue/cyan. Thank you to NetGalley and VIZ Media for allowing me to read this book. This was an adorable short comic about the adventures of Captain Marvels cat, Chewie. While the comic has very little words, it maintains its funny and adorable nature throughout. There some everyday cat activities and some superhero activities, just as you'd expect with a superhero's pet. Thank you to NetGalley and VIZ Media for allowing me to read this book. The hilarious adventures of Captain Marvel's pet cat, Chewie. Chewie invades the lives of the Avengers, the X-Men, Deadpool, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, several Spider-men, and more. There is very little to read, but some of the panels deserve a detailed look. #MarvelMeow #NetGalley The hilarious adventures of Captain Marvel's pet cat, Chewie. I love Marvel. I love cats. So what’s not to love here!?😸 This is exactly the type of content I want more of from Marvel. Fun, lighthearted stories with one’s favorite heroes are a delight, and I was already a big fan of Carol and Chewie before I discovered this gem. Any cat owner will tell you that having a feline companion means being ready for absolute havoc to break out at any moment, and these silly comics capture that hilariously. I wish there was more Captain Marvel since it is her cat, and it’s odd that we never see the flerken’s funky tentacles. The cover being Spider-man is also odd. That panel is actually Ms. Marvel in the book. I suppose they thought Spidey would get them more sales. Anyway, this is a fun and quick read for Marvel fans and a must own for super-hero loving cat fanatics. I hope they make a second volume! I love the interactions with other Marvel pets in particular. The pawsabilities fur cuteness are limitless! (I will note, however, it’s not cute or funny to hold a cat by it’s tail, as unfortunately seen in this book once or twice.)

THIS WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER. cat shenanigans with the marvel superheroes Also need more comics about Chewie the “cat” I loved that the book gave little blurbs about the heroes and included a bunch you don’t see in like the mainstream all the time

Note: I read this as a free eARC from Netgalley. Manga is not something I've read before, but this was a fun introduction. The comic strips in this book follow the hilarious adventures of Captain Marvel's cat, Chewie, as she brings chaos to the characters of the Marvel universe. 10/10 no words need as we see Chewie’s cute interactions she has with the marvel characters she comes across. That’s the life of a flerken who just happens to be Captain Marvel’s pet.

The art is beautiful, so much can be read in the context of the panel art. But there wasn’t much, would’ve loved to see or read more adventures then just 1 pages.
