Inharmonic: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The characters are relatable and lovable (I adored Pax!), and the concept of music as magic is really fun to explore. As a musician myself, I quite enjoyed the scenes at the conservatory in classes and private lessons. There was nothing that would be too technical for non-musicians to understand, but there were some things that made my musician's heart happy and nostalgic for when I was a music major in college. I'm excited to find out what happens nex Inharmonic: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I'm excited to find out what happens next! Perception: A fun novella looking at Helaine and what she faces as a result of Nadja's song and disappearance. Short and sweet, and my first introduction to the world of synesthesia (a real-life condition where the brain crosses two senses. In Helaine's case, she can smell sounds). Loved it!

I really like the heroine, Nadja. While Inharmonic (book 1) first few chapters were slow to start, the story was interesting and kept my attention. Perception (book 2) was far shorter than I anticipated but definitely left me wanting more. I enjoyed this box set as a Goodreads Giveaway and will be reading book 3 in the future. Intriguing story! (Also can we please talk about Pax?!? )
