I enjoyed this book a lot. Liam and Miles definitely moved too fast, at the beginning it was mostly instalust, and maybe even a little instalove. Usually that's not my fave, but I liked the premise, the story flowed so well, and it was superhot so it kept my attention. They definitely had a lot of chemistry, and they were both very sweet and charming in their own ways. I liked the secondary characters a lot too, especially Liam's sister. She was very supportive without being all up in their business. Miles' grandfathers were great, and they had a very romantic story too. Liam's ex was a nuisance, but I liked how the two of them dealt with that. A really cute book overall, and very good addition to the series. I'm still hoping for Josh and Dan's story🥺🥺

Frankly, this story was adorable. Freaking adorable. With little to no angst, effective and fan-worthy steam, and a whole lot of freeing self-realization and familial acceptance, this was made of fluff. There were a few moments of interference at the hands of a crazy ex, but even that wasn't enough to dim the brightness of the cheese that made this story so sweet. One thing did take me out of the story though. Confusing usage of terms and phrases. "Made my heart drop" generally means a bad thing Frankly, this story was adorable. Freaking adorable. One thing did take me out of the story though. Confusing usage of terms and phrases. "Made my heart drop" generally means a bad thing but was being used to denote a good feeling. That kind of thing happened far too often and really needed an objective eye to sort that one out. Aside from that, I was in love with Liam and his flow as well as his giant heart. His confession was the most wonderful set of words and could not have been more perfect for the moment or his chosen partner. He and Miles were literally made for one another. Miles was the adorable nerd that I did quite enjoy, he just paled a little because he was exactly as his character bio would have been written. He was special in that Liam loved everything about him, and he wasn't prone to overreactions, and his intelligence was an attribute as well, he just didn't shine as brightly for me as Liam did. This was a simple story full of sweetness, sexiness, and heartfelt feeling. I truly enjoyed the read.

" Was there such a thing as too fast when you were with the person you'd always been meant to be with?" I think this one may be my favorite of the series, even considering how Liam's annoying ex girlfriend kept popping up. It did move at lightning speed though. From the moment they met Miles and Liam connected. They felt more themselves when in each other's orbit. Miles was simply adorable and I don't blame Liam one bit for being so taken with him. I also liked that it was Liam, not openly " Was there such a thing as too fast when you were with the person you'd always been meant to be with?" From the moment they met Miles and Liam connected. They felt more themselves when in each other's orbit. Miles was simply adorable and I don't blame Liam one bit for being so taken with him. I also liked that it was Liam, not openly gay Miles, who was the one to make his feelings known. I think that helped with Miles insecurities about the way their relationship began, not to mention his stereotypical presumptions about hunky jocks. Miles bugged me a bit. I wanted him to believe Liam when he said how he felt. I wanted him to walk right up to Liam's crazy ex and tell her to get lost, that Liam was his! He needed some self confidence and I think if he had more we wouldn't have been put through the obsessive questioning he had going on in his head. My favorite part of the book had to be Liam's teammates on the soccer team. They were so awesome and supportive. The comradery was what I wished all sports teams would be like. I was also really intrigued about his two teammates who were dating. I tried seeing if they had a previous book of their own, but no luck. Maybe we'll get their backstory in a future book. I also had one little niggle that I can't help but mention. During one of the steamy scenes, the author uses the word "squatted" for when one of the MCs climbs on the others lap. I don't know about you, but whenever I hear that word all I can think about it someone going to the bathroom. It totally took me out of the story for moment. But that's my weird thing and likely wouldn't bother anyone else. 🤷‍♀️

Despite the unusual circumstances of their first meeting, from the moment the reader is introduced to Miles, a 21-year old virgin astrophysics major, and Liam, a Delta Kappa Phi ‘frat-brat’ who captains the New Haven college soccer team, the instant chemistry is obvious. And now for a VERY MINOR (view spoiler)[ It may be hard to believe that the gift of a Legos version of the Millennium Falcon could be a sign of developing love, but it definitely works here. (hide spoiler)] Other than Hayley, Liam’s conniving ex, all the supporting characters Hall has created are just wonderful. A few of these are: Miles’ roommate and best friend, Sheila; his Dungeons & Dragons game playing friends, Ben, Alex, Finn, and Luke, and of course, his two gay grandfathers. On Liam’s side there are his supportive big sister, Masha; all the members of his soccer team, particularly the team’s vice captain, Jack, and its only gay couple Tristan and Jamie; and his incredible parents who are about to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review. The Two Stars Collision is a funny, heart-felt story that every fan of gay romance novels will adore.

This book was pretty cute. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far, but I think this one was my favorite! Miles and Liam almost had an insta-love going on, but I think it was more that they lusted after each other. This Jock/Nerd romance was right up my alley! I liked how Liam and Miles actually had a lot more in common with each other than they thought and enjoyed each other's differences. 2.5 stars. Something's off about the writing in this book, the plot is practically nonexistent, and the author leans heavily on the crazy ex-girlfriend cliche for the conflict. But the main characters are likable at least (unlike one of them in the first book in this series). 2.5 stars. You know how you fall in love with fictional characters and you feel like you know them inside and out? I love that Hayden has just written characters that feel so close to me. The sibling-love and total acceptance Liam feels when he talks to his sister, Masha, reminds me of my relationship with my own sister. Liam's curiosity, questions, and exploration with someone of the same sex, reminded me of those days a long time ago, where I was doing and feeling those same things. I could go on.  I love that I felt a little bit of each of my friends and family in these characters. I also really like to be able to relate to a book. Just being able to relate to conversations about feelings or just having concerns and questions about them, especially when you may have never felt them before. I love that Hayden can write a safe space. A space where you can relate, a space where you can ask those same questions, a space where you can think or where you can work through your own emotions too.  I have literally read all of Hayden's books. I can never say which one I like the best anymore and they just get better and better as he publishes. This one though, it was tops! This one made me laugh so hard so many times, it broke my heart, it made me blush, it made me growl at my book a few times (Ugh, Hayley. Trust me, we hate her.), it made me put my book down so I could take a minute to breathe and refocus after those hot scenes, and it absolutely made me love. I 100% recommend this book. Prepare yourself for quite the emotional and fun filled ride. And may the Force be with you.

The Two Stars Collision was a cute and fun romance! When Miles goes to a bar on his 21st birthday, the last thing he expects is to have his first kiss with a really hot jock. What he expects even less is to spend the night with him. Regardless of what he expected or didn't expect, he feels a real connection to Liam. Regardless of what he expected or didn't expect, he feels a real connection to Liam. But he doesn't get his hopes up because as far as he knows, this is just a walk on the wild side for the straight soccer captain. Having feelings for Miles wasn't something Liam ever expected either. He just knows that he needs to find him and that he can't just leave it at one night. So, they strike a deal. Liam gets to keep up the ruse of a relationship to annoy his ex, and Miles gets the opportunity to finish all his firsts and practice on a handsome soccer star. This was a really cute and fluffy, nerd/jock pairing. Miles and Liam's relationship was on the fast track from the moment they met, but the "fake relationship" aspect was a major obstacle in the path of their true feelings. One thing that felt a little off to me was their chemistry. Like we were constantly being told that these two people cared about one another, but I wasn't feeling it, especially during the sex scenes, cause those just felt off the whole time. Maybe this was just a me thing, and you won't feel the same way I did, but I just had to put that out there. Apart from that, the book was pretty light, with some sweet moments! This definitely had some elements of instalove in it, and that threw me off. I would have liked more of the "getting to know you," but it wasn't too bad. There was some drama towards the end but it was solved pretty quickly and was all tied up into a cute HEA! I'd recommend this if you're looking for a light, nerd/jock romance, with a sweet ending! *I received a copy of this book from GRR, and this is my honest review.*

Miles, out celebrating his twenty-first birthday, is completely out of his element when his best friend takes him out to celebrate. She drags him to a club - frequented by frat boys and athletes – two things he is not. After he accidentally spills a drink on a very irate young woman, her ex-boyfriend, Liam, comes over to apologize to him. Liam is tall, blond and captain of the soccer team. He’s everything Miles would normally drool over, and walk on by, while keeping his head down. After Miles quotes “Star Wars” to him, Liam proposes they pose as a fake couple to further outrage his ex. What starts out as a dance, moves on to kissing, which moves on to so much more. Miles marks many firsts off his list in one eventful evening. Liam figures out he may be less straight than he ever imagined, at least where Miles is concerned. Showing up the next day at Mile’s door, with a belated birthday present, not only shows Liam’s super sweet side, but also his inner nerd. Soon there is less “fake” in their relationship, and a lot of heat and fun. This book had laugh out loud moments for me, and the side characters were fantastic. I want a Masha in my life, or at least to hang out with her for a while. Once again, the way this author writes had me enthralled, even when writing about atoms and stars, something I ignored in science class as boring. His words made me want to throw a blanket on the ground, and stare up at a dark sky, full of stars.

I absolutely loved the first half of this story, it was fast paced and funny. I liked both MCs and their fake relationship sounded really good. I wish there was more time spent on getting to know each other and building "real" relationship, because everything happened TOO FAST. And yes, it is possible to move too fast even when both MCs believe they are in love. What really annoyed me was Hayley. Jeez, I couldn't stand her and I really couldn't understand why Liam let her act like a total bitch (and in the end I wanted to just kick him real hard for lack of any reaction). Leaving the sizzling sexual tension aside, the way the author had highlighted their emotions and the meant-for-each bond through flirty dialogues and gestures makes it a complete treat to read. Wonderful penmanship. And I think this one had quite possibly the best nerd-quotes ever (the science geek in me is beaming). |"You can’t destroy matter; it can only transform until it’s unrecognizable. But they certainly work well together and discover that they get along wonderfully. I love the chemistry between the two. The connection is instant and the dynamic between them is fabulous. There are a lot of Star Wars references that fans of the series will love. But, if you're like me and have never even watched Star Wars, it doesn't make it a problem. I love the author's writing style and the storyline is plenty of fun. There are a lot of secondary characters who fully come to life and add tons to the story. The Two Stars Collison is a great choice the next time you're in the mood for a college romance. This Hayden Hall tale kept me reading late into the night.

This book was really good. This was the third book in the series but it definitely works as a standalone. You won't have any trouble with the plot or character. This is an opposites attract nerd/jock romance with lots of humor and sexxxy times. This was the classic frat boy falling for the geek but it was done really well. Miles and Liam were so adorable together!! It was definitely a collision they connected with from the first time they met! There was definite chemistry between the two of them This book was really good. This was the third book in the series but it definitely works as a standalone. I really like the secondary characters. They really rounded out the story. I can't wait for the next book!

Needing a sweet, college, just realized you're gay, jock and nerd book? The Two Stars Collision is just the one for you. Miles is such a cutie and Liam is a hunk with a capital H. The only fly in the ointment in their new not really boyfriend, boyfriend relationship is Liam's old ex girlfriend. What starts out as a trick to make Liam's ex mad, quickly turns into feelings and realizations that Liam is actually bisexual or gay and is deeply attracted to Miles. Miles and Liam are cute and so much fun. Their first meeting is equally sweet and hilarious! And from there, their chemistry explodes as they struggle to keep their hands off each other. I really enjoyed the progression of their fake relationship. It never really feels fake, and I think what reinforces this is that Liam and Miles don’t truly feel that way either. Liam realises pretty quickly that he wants to be with Miles, and when he tells him that, it’s all sweet and swoonworthy. Now, if only Miles and Liam are cute and so much fun. I have read all of Hayden's books and has been a joy to see him settle into his writing and this was another great story. Geeky Miles meet jock Liam by chance at a party where they both have a run in with Liam's ex Hayley and they end up kissing. And this is the start of their fake relationship. It turns out that they have a lot in common, including lots of chemistry too. They slowly fall for each other but Hayley tries to add some drama but in the end she is the looser. Poor nerdy Miles gets caught in the crossfire of a game of revenge between Liam, the soccer player and his ex-girlfriend. Liam's ex does not like Miles and Liam uses that fact to try to make her angry by kissing Miles to get back at her. But what was revenge for Liam gave Miles an opportunity to indulge in a few new experiences. Over time their play-acting leads to more as they realize that they have a lot in common and they like what they feel when they are together. I think this one is my favorite in the series. Miles and Liam are perfect for each other and they are so sweet together. Miles is so convinced that Liam could never really want to be with him for real that Liam has some strong convincing to do, especially with his toxic ex still hanging around. I loved these characters and have always had a soft spot for geeks, being one myself. I also loved the character of the best friend and roommate. Honestly I wouldn’t mind seeing more of these guys.

Hayden Hall! I adore these romantic stories you have created. In The Two Stars Collision, we get the chance to meet Miles, mild-mannered Science scholar, and Liam, popular scholar athlete, who find more in common than either could ever have wished. I was cheering and anxious for these two to finally get their happy ever after, and Hayden took us there, with a few stops along the way. Wonderfully written MM romance! Enjoy!!

I love this story. Both the characters are likable but Miles is extra lovable. He has so little self esteem that he just can’t see a jock wanting to be with him. Liam, the jock, finds he is totally into Miles. Naturally nothing runs smooth. The secondary characters smoothly add to the story. My only complaint is I want to know where these guys go now that they have graduated. The author could follow these two with stories for years…..

This book was very cute and sweet, I liked it! I am a fan of early heat, even if there is then some drama that puts it on hold for a bit until the characters work whatever it is out and get back together. That’s not what happened here, but anyway…Liam and Miles were a great couple who got a lovely HEA. I also really enjoyed that there wasn’t a lot of homophobic angst, everyone in their lives was generally accepting and supportive, very refreshing!

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about book 3 in this series because I really liked book 1 but had very mixed feelings on book 2, but boy did I end up loving this book! Miles and Liam were adorable and I loved that Liam just went with his feelings and did not question himself a ton. Hayley was an awful character and I wish she suffered a little more for how she used Liam. This book was fun and hot and I highly recommend this read. This book is probably my favourite in the Series so far. Miles is that geeky college student with zero presence and Liam is the jock that everyone loves. It's starts as a revenge on Liam's ex but the chemistry is off the chart and they both dive in at 100 mph. The supporting characters are well thought out, yes even the annoying ex Hayley. Sheila and Masha deserve their own stories as well. Miles and Liam learn and grow with each other to a HEA This book is probably my favourite in the Series so far.
