I so appreciate this series for the diverse selection of stories in each volume which efficiently "take me away," as an old commercial promoted, each transporting me to a new venue, whether Contemporary or historical. Many of the authors presented here also have series of their own going on. These volumes of short stories are an excellent way to get to know them and their writing. I highly recommend them.
