Batman pulls his bat family together to tell them what’s going on. There were some funny moments there. Plus of course Bats tested them without them knowing it to make sure they weren’t vampires. Then the former hero that is now a vamp and working for the vamps, took another hero off the board. This is getting good.

I love this series so far. Great twists, humor, and strong artwork. This issue has a lot of banter and funny moments, and it also has an interesting and surprising ending. I can’t wait to keep reading!

The storyline is pretty good. Nice and creepy. Not so crazy about the art. Doesn't quite fit the mood. The storyline is pretty good. Nice and creepy. Not so crazy about the art. Doesn't quite fit the mood.

Here we go. The Batfamily is together to begin to assess the threat that the world is currently facing. There's some entertaining writing as Bruce assesses whether or not any members of his inner circle have been turned by the vampires. Meanwhile, Oliver is continuing his hunt. He seems to know more than the rest of them - although the how is still in question. He's planning something, but just what it might be we have to wait and see. On the other side of things, another hero falls. It's all building, and rapidly, and it's a joy to read. The art is stellar, and the writing crisp. I can't get enough of this team.

I think it's funnier than it's supposed to be, or at least funnier than I expected it to be. The bat family interactions are always good and they're spot on. I do think this is a scenario that Bruce actually might not have completely accounted for, too, which makes it more enjoyable. That said, the way the plot is progressing makes a lot of sense and I appreciate that it's thought through so well. Even if the end is sad. :( I think it's funnier than it's supposed to be, or at least funnier than I expected it to be. The bat family interactions are always good and they're spot on. Everything that was a bit entertaining in the first volume isn't there anymore... I won't continue with it! Everything that was a bit entertaining in the first volume isn't there anymore... I won't continue with it!

Vampires strike a great blow! Batman assembles his strike force to wage war against the vampires but its too late to save one long time Justice League member.
