HBR at 100 has a mix of topical and classic essays from the history of HBR. This is a pro and a con. As a person that has listened to HBR compilations on topics I found noteworthy, the more interesting essays were not new to me - yet not unpleasant to revisit. With that said, some of the more topical commentary is unsurprisingly terrible. In the end, there's a bit of interesting content, a lot of what you've heard before unless you're a novice in the field (which is totally fine!), and some main HBR at 100 has a mix of topical and classic essays from the history of HBR. This is a pro and a con. As a person that has listened to HBR compilations on topics I found noteworthy, the more interesting essays were not new to me - yet not unpleasant to revisit. With that said, some of the more topical commentary is unsurprisingly terrible. In the end, there's a bit of interesting content, a lot of what you've heard before unless you're a novice in the field (which is totally fine!), and some mainstream commentary on current topical issues. I'm harsh on books, since I think good content is relatively novel and thought provoking. For the most part, this is neither.

This book was an interesting collection of articles written over the last 100 years. It was interesting to not how some older articles still ring true while new ones deal with current issues like hybrid workforces. I would recommend reading this slowly, an article at a time and then going back to review a few of the best articles!
