Holy crap! I picked up the tpb for 1-6 and read it to recap and refresh before digging back in (highly recommend doing this, btw). With a better understanding of the story thus far and the character relationships with Walter, this issue takes on an even more sinister and creepy vibe. Like, Walter really loves these people, but it's totally an icky type of love, and this issue's focus on Molly really highlights that - especially if you remember her desperation to get her husband back. And the whole Norah and Reg thing is so messed up now. I mean, the whole thing is completely messed up now. The game has completely changed and I had more than one wtf moment in this one. So glad to have this series back!

Good to see the cast of characters again! Story is getting pretty wild. Can’t wait to see why Walter is using them like a Petri dish 🧫.

After a long pause, this series finally continue... but I was expecting so much more! Maybe the pause just got me out of it and I will need one or two issues to jump back in, but I find this one to be a bit boring. Let's hope number eight will do better! Reg is in, Norah is out, and they don't have any idea about the end of the world? The real question which Norah voiced at the end of the previous issue is, how many times has this happened? And also, have the aliens watched The Good Place? Because it doesn't go so smoothly... Greatful for the inclusion of the character/symbol list at the back of the issue. Please continue doing this. 3.5/5 stars This one was fucked up. (view spoiler)[I rated it 3.5 (rounded up to 4) because I wanted this issue to be about Molly but it ended up focusing on Walter and Norah. The plot also came to halt in this one, which was a bit of a let down after issue #6. I did like that we got to see more of Walter and his way of being and I felt really bad for Norah, she seems to be in an awful situation. (hide spoiler)] Not my favorite issue but still pretty good. 3.5/5 stars This one was fucked up. Interesting twist (the one in book 4 was also great)! I had to read the initial few pages twice to understand what exactly happened! Nice story so far. Waiting to see what happens in the last 5 parts of this “season”!

Now that the story has crossed its middle point, things are starting to reveal and mysteries are about to come out from the dark. Which means, this will only get more interesting (I hope), and a bit of proof of that is this Volume 7, where we start to see the situation evolve, the characters being more resourceful and open about their feelings, and the evil behind all that is happening to them is showing a side that we have not seen before, a need, a plan…. Can’t wait for the next one.

Norah still has all her memories, but is trapped behind a one way mirror to watch trapped in a cage. Does he think the experiment will work now that he's in it? I am beyond involved in these people. Why does he ignore Ryan? Why make Reg forget asking about her? Is she another alien to test Walter? What is Walter's overall plan? I started reading this, and after the first page I was like, did I miss something?! I had to go back to the last issue to be reminded that, Oh yeah, everything flipped. James Tynion, you have outdone yourself!

Reading this monthly after reading the collected volume is going to kill me. Walter is such a prick of a character but I can’t wait to see all of the characters finally realize what he’s up to (AGAIN!!)
Kelley May –
The way Walter is drawn when he’s being his true self is my favorite part of this series so far.

A great piece of writing. After the series hiatus, the plot takes a totally different turn than whatever anyone was expecting after that last cliffhanger. So happy it’s back.

Blown away by another amazing issue. Waiting one more month will be torture.
