   Caution- The only caution I have including this in my library collection, is that this book would be way too easy for my 6th graders. I would tell them to start with this book if they're interested in learning how to read graphic novels, otherwise they should not be picking this book for their independent reading book. Application and Audience- This book is intended for a much younger grade level, such as first grade.    Clues in the Attic by Cari Meister is a graphic novel that is a part of My First Graphic Novel collection. The story is about Ben, a young boy who lost something that belongs to his sister. His journey to the attic is told in pictures, making this a graphic novel. This book could be used in a kindergarten classroom to help students learn to connect pictures with words. Students could take one of the books from the collection, and add their own words to elaborate on the pictures they see.
