My biggest issue is most of this happened in dreams So I feel like this story should have begun about 7 mos before it did when Hayes first met Laura. Love isn't supposed to be a sure thing, the magic of love is that it takes a leap of faith. So while I'm not doubting they are in love, I feel like the best bits, the nitty gritty feelings bits happened off the page and I feel a little cheated because of it. I also didn't like the way the book just started skipping time toward the end instead of letting the reader stay with the characters as they processed their feelings. Overall I liked the book I just wish it had been more.

I will remember to re-read this book when I need a pick me up. It was sad about Hayes but I do love him as a ghost. There were a few characters that were glossed over that I wish the author would develop more but I still found that she did great with the main ones. I will pick up book 2 so I can read this series.

I just downloaded the new and improved version off Amazon for free (5/21-22) and it rocks. Super funny, very sweet, but also very sexy. Loved how the author tortured the characters but made if fun for the readers. I was rooting for Grayson and Sophia from page 1. And that letter from Hayes - made me cry. Great book.

This is the witchy romance that you've always wanted to read!! With meddling family members, spells cast and a planned wedding, this plot could not be more delectable! Loved the witchy romance It's usually hard for me to find witchy books that keep me interested but I fell in love with this one. It has humor, some suspense, romance and I really loved the main characters and the side characters. It's a much lighter read than I've been used to reading and I found it to be refreshing. I like the characters but it is a shame their relationship was so sexual. If there had been a more emotional side, the story would be a lot better. Low 3

That being said, the hero was a bit of a jerk for most of the book. The spell that brought them together forced lust, but there wasn't enough communication or experience to bring about love. They were too busy blandly boinking to have any real meaningful exchanges. And, I just can't get behind lust turning into everlasting love without some sort of intimacy or real exchange. There was a significant lack of character development. And, the biggest issue I had, is that if the guy I just said "I love you" to kicked me out of his apartment and disappeared for 2 months, well, let's just say I wouldn't have been as forgiving. Even with his reasons for bailing, he still bailed. No explanation at the time. That would have seriously messed with my head and I would have had more self respect than to just jump back in bed with him. Come to think of it, all 3 women in that family, and Rachael need a BIG dose of self esteem. C'mon ladies, have some self respect! So, what does that mean? I liked it, but the character's behaviors and relationships were very unbelievable, even within the parameters of a paranormal romance. So, while I liked it...I didn't love it.

Sofia comes from a long line of women who have certain “gifts”. She dreams these dreams of herself and a man by the name of Gray who are in love. 'Bewitching You' was a good read with humor, some hot and steamy scenes and a great cast of characters. The storyline was interesting. I loved Nana and her sense of humor. She definitely cracked me up. Laura was an entertaining neighbor. I loved that she painted one side of her house purple to annoy the neighbor. And then there's Sophia. A somewhat quiet, innocent, naive witch. Gray is not the typical rich, arrogant Adonis guy who pops up in most stories. I enjoyed reading this story. It was fun with magic thrown in. I would have enjoyed it more if we could have met the brothers before Hayes death. Nana was a great character and I would have liked more of her, maybe she could have her own little story. Your never too old to have fun and cause havoc. The mother was too bitter, it would have been nice to have some type of closure or interaction with her ex. Maybe finding out his daughter is an up and coming famous artist brings him out. This was a sweet little romance with a bit of magic thrown in. To me, some portions were a bit trite or predictable which is my reasoning for giving this a 3 rather than a 4 rating. Let's call it a 3+. It's a nice beach/back porch kind of a book that most readers should easily be able to breeze through in a day's time. The main character, Sophia, had a great heart and a warm, generous spirit. It was very easy to really like her and care about her finding happiness. I love this series. In this book Sofia has dreams where she can see her future. She usual only makes it to one date with a guy because then she can foresee him with someone else. Then she dreams of her true love and this turns out to be Gray. He has been dreaming of her too. But, when they find out a love spell has been cast on them, is there love strong enough to survive? Meanwhile Sofia has be dreaming of a plane tragedy. Can she figure out how to stop it in time?

The story was interesting enough and I liked the supporting characters. The book is well written, call me old fashioned but even a little of the process of 'falling in love' would have made it a 3.5-4 star. What I couldn't stomach was pure lust over the space of a few days magically transforming into love and staying that way. The story was interesting enough and I liked the supporting characters. This book certainly bewitched me. It is simply brilliant. The storyline is intricate without getting bogged down with detail. The characters are warm and draw you into their lives. Everything in it seems so "real" - like the grandmother - mother - daughter relationship, or the neighbourly spats. A wonderful read and definitely an author to seek more from. Sofia doesn’t have much going right in her life, but this psychic knows when she’s met the man of her dreams, even if he doesn’t know it. But a little push from her grandmother has the two of them exploring a relationship before it’s time in the middle of unresolved issues. Bit of a convoluted plot, but nice resolution of timeline and story at the end.

All I can do is highly praise this book! Sofia and Gray are wonderful and the progression of their story, with a ghost, spells and the gift of foresight, is riveting. Definitely not for anyone who doesn't like raunchiness in their books. A great start to a series that has boundless possibilities. All I can do is highly praise this book!
