A great resource, and very current & thorough. This is way more money-oriented than the Passman book (obv), and explains the various revenue streams available to a songwriter in great detail. It's a little dry to read cover to cover, but works great as reference book. A great resource, and very current & thorough. A great book to cover details of all part of the music industry. Great detail in most areas. It does not cover some things that are relevant in the Nashville market but overall a great reference book for Industry indsiders...

Read this book in college while studying for a degree in Music Business. From what I remember, it was decent, just not exciting.
